Located in the middle of the Nevada desert, Fordworth Valley is a half hour drive from the next decent-sized town and a forty minute drive from Las Vegas. At its inception, it was a gold mining town, bringing people from all over the country in to mine and get rich quick. But when the luck ran out, so did the money, and now, it is home to a rural, old west style community.

An American small town with a rich history sounds like a lovely, quiet place to settle down. The scenery can be breathtaking, the sunsets calming, and the night filled with stars. Being surrounded by nature can be serene.

But all that glitters isn't gold in this gold rush town.

After generations of peace and quiet, the locals of Fordworth Valley had their solace broken by modern advances and industry causing a second, but smaller economic boom. A corporation, Solartronics, and its menacing manufacturing plant have settled just outside town. Solar power is a wonderful alternative to energy, but every corporation's motive is to make money. Now, a fresh batch residences flood into the area, changing the economy and face of Fordworth as much as it had in the 1800's. This time instead of gold, it is solar energy bringing in a new group of people hoping to make it rich in the sands of Nevada.

Locals and newcomers. Perhaps the only thing these two factions really agree on, is their desire to prosper. Rumors of hidden gold have been circulating within the past decade. It is said that someone, a man named Morgan Miller, found some gold, but got trapped in the mines and never made it out. But are the stories real? Could the Legend of Morgan Miller's undiscovered treasure be the thing that unites every citizen of this town? And if gold isn't buried out there...what is?
