He's a breeder(someone who is able to carry children) and I'm looking for a non-breeder for him. I'm specifically looking for someone on the dominant side. The defeat of the infamous dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald in 1945 never happened. Instead Dumbledore sat idly by as Grindelwald's control continued to spread through Europe. By 1978, only a few countries remained free of Grindelwald's regime of anti-muggle sentiment. Although it may seem overwhelming, there are fewer changes to canon at ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} crossfire than may originally be thought because of England's isolation from Grindelwald's influence. While the Order and Knights of Walpurgis (the Death Eaters of this universe) have not currently been established in-game, all characters' histories should have been relatively the same while in school and growing up. Don't take that to mean things will be boring though! Instead of being confined to England, there's potential for plots to take place in other countries as European groups and leaders work together advancing their aims. This means there's tons room for world building abroad and chances to explore your characters in these environments.Most Wanted: We'd love more "Death Eaters" (the Knights of Walpurgis in this universe!). |

Never before has there been such a period of destruction and social turmoil for both Wizarding and Muggle alike. As Harry Potter readied himself to face Voldemort a final time, there were many who felt that the Wizarding world was teetering on the brink of a golden age. Those who stood with the Order of the Phoenix longed for a period of peace and safety, free of the dark cloud that was Tom Riddle. Those who bore the dark mark prepared to welcome a new society that embraced purity and order. Both sides clinging to ideal visions described by their leaders. Many would sacrifice, but none would see their ambitions bear fruit. With Voldemort's death, the foundation on which the power struggle had been based was shattered. Broken shards were sent in all directions, each intent on accomplishing their own illusions of power and control. With the abrupt loss of the iron control over his supporters, the death of the Dark Lord created a power vacuum that has sent all sides scrambling to fill it. Death eaters rally under the Lestrange brothers, Werewolves aim to increase their numbers, the Ministry fights for control, and the Order seeks to eliminate what they consider as the source of the problem. Amongst this new power struggle, the statue of secrecy has been all but destroyed. Britain is being isolated from the rest of the world, slowly being destroyed as each side battles the other. Grey Haven, Utah, is a quiet American tourist town. It's sleepy, the townies are friendly, and it seems like nothing out of the ordinary happens there. This is because this tiny town is a supernatural dead-zone, and host to some very powerful, potent magic of its own. Within the borders of Grey Haven, all supernaturals are rendered mundane... and they become completely human. In these modern times, the town serves many functions: a neutral ground for warring factions to meet, a sanctuary for the hunted, a hiding place for fugitives, or simply a place to break a terrible curse or enchantment. To this day, its original function is still its most common: allowing supernatural creatures who are tired of the secrecy and the struggle a peaceful haven to live out a mortal life and eventually have a natural death, something many supernaturals are denied. |
