Dresden Academy
Dresden Academy is a high school/university game for Original Characters set in the Harry Potter Universe. We're looking for players who like organic plots and can think outside of the sandbox. Played on scribbld.

There is an undercurrent of change at Dresden. Jillian Hulett, the current headmistress, is dealing with the New York Association of Wizards' decision to cut the school's funding this year, and the turmoil her budgetary decisions will cause. The students (and faculty) are set to revolt. The school is a powder keg, and some unsavoury individuals with their own agendas are set to light a match.

A Nolan Gerard Funk PB to [info]diverging for either an antagonistic ex line with potential residual feelings or as the boy that made her swear off physical contact as a junior in high school. Or both.

Also a few cousins and maybe one of her siblings that have powers and have either been sent to SWI to repent for being a devil's child or ran away to Hewitt's before their parents had a chance. Either way there are eight to choose from and I highly doubt my character is the only family member to be powered. PBs must have either red hair or dark brown hair, if they happen to share a few similarities with Allison Scagliotti is a complete bonus but not required.

Chocolate rain, floating upside down houses, flying earth ponies, sidewalks made of ice. During his brief time back in Ponyville Discord managed to make a mess out of just about everything. He turned a trustworthy pony into a liar, a pony full of laughter into a pony full of bitterness, a generous pony into one of greed, a kind pony into a mean spirit, and a loyal pony into a pony who cared nothing for others. But what was Discord up to while the mane six were distracted? Yes, he watched and enjoyed their conflict. But there were other ponies he could reach and steal their virtues as well, twisting them into something unrecognizable.

Princess Luna was already vulnerable, making her the perfect target. True, she was familiar with Discord and his tactics; She and her sister, Princess Celestia, defeated Discord many years ago and sealed him away in stone. But his words struck close to home. Too close for her to ignore. She was still the princess of night, the thing all the ponies slept through and ignored. She would always play second fiddle to the older, wiser, and more beautiful sister. Everypony would always be afraid of what she had the potential to turn into. The seeds were planted and that was progress enough for Discord.

Even as the stone began covering his body for a second time, the mane six standing before him in defiant victory against his terrible magic, he wondered if it would be discord among the ponies that would break him free again, or would it be a wounded princess, looking to have at least one person who was willing to tell her the truth on her side?

Disrupted Harmony follows the conclusion of the two-part season two premier. Though Discord has been defeated, his effect still lingers on in some of the residents of Equestria. Will harmony reign supreme or will discord find a way to tear apart a peaceful existence?

[info]lockdown is a small Marauder-Era AU roleplaying game, taking the world of Harry Potter and exploring the theme of an extended civil war and its effect on the populace. Our goal is to explore the ideas of freedom and safety, peace and conflict, the opposing forces of light and dark, and the idea of what measures are called for in times of war. In the end, the work of the characters involved and the ends to which they are willing to go, are the only things that will decide Britain's fate.

We're looking for more players to expand our numbers, and really build up a larger community. In particular, we are looking to recruit more Death Eaters and Ministry-aligned individuals, as well as a list of specific lines here.

Original Character. Futuristic. Arranged Marriage.

In the year 2030 the world ended.

The end was once thought to be in 2011 when the world was devastated by the effects of Global Warming but that violent end was prevented by The Viridis Endeavor. In 2021 scientists came up with a chemical, a gas called 'Viridis' that miraculously managed to put a stop the catastrophes that had been slowly but surely destroying the earth. What those scientists did not know--or as some suspect simply did not care--the Viridis chemical had a lasting effect. In a span of six short years every man and woman on earth was completely sterile.

2029-the full effect of the chemical was known and the world was thrown into chaos. For several years the world became a dark place; kidnappings, thefts, murders, rioting, and violence in the streets. There was a rise in religious fanaticism and cults. With the increase in violence, there was such a loss of life when the world could not afford it and the Government stepped in. The Global Government.

In a few years order was restored and with the Government's mantra as 'Live Your Last Days to the Fullest', many people felt nothing but thankfulness to this new Government. Even when the Government begin to move more and more into people's everyday lives all in the name of 'giving the best quality of life', there were few protests. It wouldn't be a much of a stretch to say that the Global Government had the population brainwashed to their way of life.

During this nineteen years of peace, the Global Government had been working to reverse the devastating effects of the Viridis Endeavor without destroying the now near perfect atmosphere of Earth. It was a group of scientists in Beijing, China who discovered the cure. They called it Hòu Rén (后人) or 'Posterity'. Hòu Rén is a serum, a cure that reverses the sterilization but only in people below the age of forty. In an attempt to not only capitalize on the joyous reaction from the public but to insure that the population will grow in the 'right' direction, the Hòu Rén community has been established. As China was the place where the cure was discovered, it was selected as the place for the first Hòu Rén community.

Scientists have created a database of DNA samples, looking for key genes that will create an 'ideal baby' and the people with these 'perfect' genes are contacted and urged to join the community. It is advertised as being on a strictly voluntary basis with a substantial monetary incentive. People between the ages of 21-39 from all over the world will enter the Hòu Rén community to be paired up with their perfect genetic partner.


The Hòu Rén Community is for the betterment of our world. Who will be your match?

Murder House: A Haunted House Horror RPG

Premise Rules Characters Ayers House


Murder House is an original horror role playing game set in rural Maine in autumn 2010. The game will focus on the experiences of 15 individuals (starting out) who come to the reopening of the famed Ayers Murder House. The house has been transformed into a world class bed and breakfast resort by a mysterious benefactor and whether through contest or invitation, the guests have arrived. Some are ghost hunters. Some are history buffs. Others are just looking to get away for a few weeks. What they aren't aware of is that that there are a multitude of spirits inside of the house, both good and evil.
And the house is looking to add to the body count...

The game is meant to focus on the human struggle against the supernatural and the self. The characters will be faced with temptation, horror, and true tests of survival. Each player will take on the role of one character archtype and one type of ghost (should they so choose). That way each player will have the chance to get a taste of the game from both sides of the game. Overplot will be run, but this is meant to be a cooperative experience, meaning that ALL players will engage in creating plot and are encouraged to do so!

On Christmas Day 2012, four days after the scheduled “end of the world” panic, the world came to a screeching halt. An asteroid, larger than any that had come into contact before, struck the moon, knocking it out of its place in orbit and just a bit closer to the Earth.

The resulting events were catastrophic, Tsunamis buried whole cities, even states in a matter of moments. Earthquakes killed millions. Volcanoes all around the world, spewed hundreds of tons of ash into the skies, blocking out the sun and turning the world a bleak shade of gray.

That was months ago and now for a small band of survivors who’ve managed to make their homes in a small subdivision of duplex homes located in the heart of Blythville, things don’t seem to be getting better anytime soon. Food is growing scarce, fuel is a rarity in and of itself, and time seems to be no one’s friend.
