Our idea of a superhero has been crafted—molded since we were young. Just a click of the remote took a child to Superman, the very definition of the word. We saw him utilize his enhanced agility and strength to defeat the unethical schemes of Lex Luther, his arch-nemesis. When all was right, he ran to the shadows to become a common man named Clarke Kent. He then battled everyday evils, such as staplers, traffic jams, and the pain of unrequited love. Though he was portrayed as a civilian, he was never considered one. He was always alien to us, as most well-known superheroes are. It’s never an average man who's gone without a run-in with toxic fluids or bites from strange creatures who saves the day, but for these citizens that all changes... Weekend Warriors is an original gifted game devoted to well-crafted, diverse characters and story-telling. The game has a strong story-arch that is driven by staff with member input; it allows for player-made sub-plots to operate alongside the site-wide plot. We offer a laid-back community that is concerned first and foremost with entertaining plots. We have been in development for over a year and have been open for over three months.  ...the Boy who Lived will be nothing more than the Boy who is Still Living. And Tomorrow is a post-DH, non-epilogue compliant RPG set in 1999, one year after the fall of Lord Voldemort. The game will be heavily defined by the choices made by its players- in other words, the outcome will be entirely shaped by you. We're looking to create a game that allows for schedule flexibility as well as committed gameplay. game opens september 1st. |

More than once the Powers have had to step in to try and right the balance. Every small decision, every sacrifice, was noted, changed the course of worlds. Howard Stark is a man who was born ahead of his time. Two Futurists – two men of science with visions of a better world the world around them does not seem ready for. Charles Xavier earned Ph.Ds in genetics, biophysics, psychology, and anthropology, and an M.D. in psychiatry. He is the foremost authority on matters of genetics, mutation, and psionic ability, and is extraordinarily skilled in other areas of science, as well. Arguably the world’s most powerful telepath, Xavier is also a skilled physical combatant. All of these gifts have been directed toward one purpose – engendering a world, through education, where homo sapiens and homo superior can peacefully co-exist. In 2007, Xavier opened the doors of his former family home and founded the Xavier School For Gifted Youngsters. Here, young mutants would be taught to explore and control their powers in an environment of acceptance and support, settled in picturesque Westchester County, New York. Howard Stark is a billionaire, a brilliant inventor, and a genius, years ahead of his time. With Ph.Ds in physics and mechanical engineering, Stark is adept in atomic physics, robotics, artificial intelligence, computer imagery and biochemistry. A ruthless businessman, Stark is also a skilled fighter, whether barehanded, or using any kind of weaponry, from man made to alien technology. His goal is to make the world and our future a better place to live, through the technological advancements created by the best and brightest minds of today. To that end, in 2009, Stark founded the Howard Stark School of Tomorrow in Hartford, Connecticut – open to only the best, the brightest, and the most gifted students. While students with Xavier’s significant X-Gene are not excluded, most of the Stark student body consists of meta-humans, and those individuals with super powers.  In 2012, humanity flourished. Violet Inc., a powerful scientific corporation, began the undertaking of a new project. Project Eden was meant to solve all of the world’s problems and give humanity a chance to do things right. By 2016, Violet Inc. had made the United States a world superpower like it had never been before. Change was happening for the better. Many thought it a perfect age…until the disappearances began in 2017. People simply vanished, without rhyme or reason. Panic spread like wildfire and blame was thrown in every direction. A second wave of disappearances left the international community blaming the United States and the ever mysterious Violet Inc. The world was struck again soon after, as all major U.S. cities were gutted and leveled from numerous nuclear explosions. There was no warning. No light in the sky. Simply devastation. The current year is 2024, six years after the second Disappearance and the ravaging of the United States' major cities. Survivors have moved to rural areas or the wilderness. Strength lies always in numbers, as they say. Cults, gangs and tribes have taken hold in place of the civilized order that once was. Does the wasteland hold any hope? If so, does it lie within the structured puritanism of Angel Fire or in the chaos of Eagle Nest?
