| Reports of another attack began filtering in to the Ministry late last night, creating quite a stir as Hitwizards and other Ministry employees tried to find the victim or victims of the nighttime attack. Unlike previous attacks, Hitwizards were not summoned immediately to the scene, creating much confusion over who was attacked and where. The confusion was solved early this morning when Mrs Narcissa Malfoy contacted the Ministry to officially report the attack. According to official reports, her cousin Regulus Black, RO, was attacked in Diagon Alley last night, just outside Twilfitt and Tattings in Knockturn Alley. According to Mrs Malfoy, an employee of the shop came out to assist her cousin and was injured before both escaped the attackers. We are told by an inside source that the unnamed rescuer is Seamus Finnigan, an employee of Twilfitt and Tattings, although St Mungo’s has no record of Mr Finnigan being admitted for any injuries and the owner of the shop refused to give comment. Unlike the most recent previous attacks, none of the attackers were captured, and a source in the Hitwizard office admits to finding little evidence at the scene. It is of course important to note one obvious difference between this attack and previous ones; Regulus Black is not only an RO but also a former Death Eater. His release from CUSRO and the Ministry of Magic came as much a surprise to most, but rumors swirl that it was Harry Potter himself who advocated his release. Whether the fact of Regulus Black’s former status that contributed to his escaping uninjured from the attacks remains to be seen. A spokesperson for the Ministry of Magic released the following statement in response to the attacks this morning: “As always, the Ministry is working diligently on solving these horrible crimes, on finding the perpetrators and bringing them to justice. In the mean time, we advocate that all ROs either make sure to never go out unaccompanied, or else avoid going out at night entirely, for the purposes of their own safety.” The spokesperson went on to add that the Ministry plans on publishing a special piece shortly featuring safety advice for ROs in the current climate. But is it enough? Many people say no, and some of even advocating a special curfew for ROs to prevent them from going out at night when they seem to be most at danger of being attacked. Another group even suggested that ROs should be kept from Diagon entirely, where many of the attacks are being perpetrated. And of course there remain the opinions of the attackers themselves, who continue to insist that they will not stop their attacks until the ROs are contained within the Ministry of Magic and their rights stripped. With the Ministry appearing to make no advances in the case, it seems as if it is only a matter of time before another RO is attacked. The only question is who, and when? | ||

 CAST | PLAYER DIRECTORY | FRIENDING BUTTON It's 2050, by now the wizarding world has gone through mass changes since the Second War ended. Deaths, births, the rise of a new generation, changes for a better world. The only thing that the wizarding world struggled with was a small uprising started by the children of former Death Eaters. Thankfully, it only took one year to quash it, and luckily only a small number of causalities came from it. In the end the nine members of the uprising were caught, and sentenced for their crimes against the wizarding world. Since then everything started to progress again and over time the wizarding world became slightly more dependent on the muggle world, and with that came change and adaptation. One of these changed came when former Minister Shaklebolt decided that the key to a peaceful future was knowledge. With knowledge came acceptance and progress to maintain a better world. In 2030 Eolas University came the first Wizarding University. Modeled after muggle universities across Britain and Ireland the goal was to educate young witches and wizards preparing them for their career of choices. Everything from Geffory Buttermere College of Medicine, the MacTavish College of Law Enforcement, Goodfellow College of Magical Law, to degrees offered in Magical Zoology, Muggle Studies, a wide array of degrees available for every kind of field in the wizarding world. It is up to this new generation to decide what to do with the knowledge, if they'll use it to follow their dreams, to help wizarding kind, or for their own personal benefit. Their grandparents made a mark on the world, now it's their turn. |

I have a very specific idea in mind. I'm looking to thread a het line where I play the female and my writing partner plays the male. I'm looking to play a nurse against a nurse (or doctor if I can't persuade you to play your male as a nurse). The situation is that they both work the night shift (11-7) and after getting done with their work, they sneak whenever we decide and they have sex. That's my idea, but if you want to keep the kine going we can brainstorm ways to do so. Is anyone interested?

| Twenty-five years after the fateful Tournament, the political atmosphere in Britain and Europe had changed drastically. The threat of the Dark wizard known as Lord Voldemort had disappeared, and in the years following the triumph, governments arose that were much more focused on cooperation and tolerance among wizards and witches at home and internationally. Four Quidditch teams representing their schools will compete against each other in a series of matches throughout the academic year, with two finals at the end of the year to determine the overall winner. And alongside all the Quidditch fever that is sure to grip the castle, the typical difficulties of an academic year at Hogwarts must still be traversed: exams, friendships, romance, and antics. CHANCES RPG is a classic MWPP-era game, set just before the start of the Marauder's 6th year at Hogwarts.
This is the time where choices will make or break a person, when the lives of family and friends begin to hang in the balance. Dumbledore is looking to his brightest students to join him on the side of the Order of the Phoenix, while the Dark Lord and his supporters, who have been quietly gaining ground in the last several decades, are looking for new, young support as well.

This move to protect the world also doomed it to an inevitable end; it has been over 19 years since a child has been born. The world as a whole had resigned itself to this bleak future until now, the year 2051. It was a group of scientists in Beijing, China who discovered the cure. They called it Hòu Rén (后人) or 'Posterity'. Hòu Rén is a serum, a cure that reverses the sterilization but only in people below the age of forty. In an attempt to not only capitalize on the joyous reaction from the public but to insure that the population will grow in the 'right' direction, the Hòu Rén community has been established. As China was the place where the cure was discovered, it was selected as the place for the first Hòu Rén community. Scientists have created a database of DNA samples, looking for key genes that will create an 'ideal baby' and the people with these 'perfect' genes are contacted and urged to join the community. It is advertised as being on a strictly voluntary basis with a substantial monetary incentive. People between the ages of 21-39 from all over the world will enter the Hòu Rén community to be paired up with their perfect genetic partner. The Hòu Rén Community is for the betterment of our world. In Southern California, there recently opened a new luxury apartment building. Impeccably designed, impossibly convenient, ideally located, Pax Letale is the sort of residential Shangri La where Southern Californians spend all manner of favors and years trying to secure a spot. But Pax doesn't have a waiting list, nor can a place there be bought or sold. The people who find their way to Pax Letale belong there. Every tenant of Pax is a reincarnated deity whose worshipers are by and large long dead. Once very real, these gods began to fade as science and reason dispelled the probability of their existence. Reborn as mortals, their essences remain, waiting to be awakened. Somehow, sometimes one by one, sometimes in groups or pairs, these creatures of destiny have discovered Pax, and have not been able to resist its pull. For at Pax Letale, the awakening has begun. As these gods rediscover themselves and each other, the seemingly invisible but ubiquitous management tracks each of them quite closely, and the very building itself seems to have an agenda of its own. And as the gods made humans in their own image - or humans made them in theirs - so will the the behavior of the people of Pax turn as dark as their myths. Blood, strife, sex, petty plots, torture - even murder will wind their ways into Pax Letale. A lovely place. A peculiar place. A dangerous place. Enki is the Babylonian god of water, crafts, intelligence and creation. Twin of and best friend of Ereshkigal, goddess of the Underworld, he is often seen as a positive foil to his brother Enlil, utilizing his magic and cunning for the good of others; he brings aid to deities and humans alike, serving as a rare masculine nuturer in a chaotic and often oppressively patriarchal pantheon. He will likely have connections to Tiamat, Ereshkigal, and other Sumero-Babylonian deities. Brighid is the Celtic goddess of the forge, inspiration, compassion and creativity, and a patron goddess of artists, craftsmen, and other creative types. In her mortal life, she may have connections to her parents, her siblings, or any of the Celtic pantheon. Masauwu is a Hopi deity sometimes called the Skeleton Man, Keeper of Fire, Spirit of Death, and the Master of the Fourth (present) World. He is depicted as a dark-skinned man wearing a mask; sometimes the creature beneath this mask is described as handsome, sometimes as a disfigured monster. Connections to Native American deities and gods and goddesses of death or enlightenment are likely. Don't see a tenant that interests you? Other deities and pantheons are welcome - pick one of the active pantheons in the game, or talk to a mod if there's one you don't see, and make your modern god as you see him/her/it. |
