The year is 2161. Technology has expanded with the march of time: holographic communication, personalized mini-computers, humanoid robots... all of these things exist, especially if you’ve got enough money. The City of Notions is an original character, supernatural, mystery game set in futuristic Boston and focusing on a group of evolved humans working in and around the Boston Police Department and Crime Lab. When a series of serial killings leaves three women dead in a rather... Shakespearean manner, the detectives of the BPD struggle to piece together the mysterious painted clues left at each crime scene. Little do they know that the killings are much, much more than random violence: someone is systematically killing off the city’s powered humans -- someone with a plan.

Everyone knows the government keeps secrets. What's really in Area 51? Who really shot JFK? Where is Hoffa really buried? In 2006, another secret, another source of conspiracy theories, was born.

Six scientists combined their ideas and expertise to create clones of real people. These clones were then implanted with memories and personalities, even abilities, of people from other dimensions, fictional characters to us, and then released for observation into an elaborate underground city.

The clones don't know that they're clones; their memories are altered to know only the things their scientist creators want them to know. Scientists and students from universities all over the world are welcomed to the secret facility on a strict recruitment basis to study the daily lives of these clones as family members, friends and associates.

Will you be a clone, forced to choose between ignorance and knowledge, or will you be a scientist, trying to study the clones while maintaining the secret of the city?

[info]esplanademod I'm looking for some lines to take with my fae to the community. I have some wanted lines in the journal, but I also don't mind trying out some darker lines as well considering it's a horror style game. Vampires, weres, humans, humans with powers, another fae--whatever you'd like. I'm open to any idea, or if anyone wants to take a mentioned line and twist it around a bit. I don't have any preferred faces to play against, so that would be entirely up to you.
