Allo lovelies~ Kayley here with my third temporary character!

Her name is Caterina Hensley, people call her Cat for short. Or the evil hell cat that a lot of people could possibly use if they don't like her. And I know a lot of you antis' out there will! She is one of Boston's famous singers and she is Boston bound, so anyone who is of her age (25 years old) might have known her through high school or college before her career bloomed. Her power is mass manipulation (dominant) and she does use it at some of her concerts as well as the rally that is going on. This girl is one open outspoken pistol. Hence why she is the spokesperson for PEM. Pro-evos' alike and even nats who are pro-evo probably know her every word about love, happiness, and equality that she spreads through her speeches and lyrics.

And though she is a sweetheart and speaks about non-violence between the pro and anti evos, she has a little problem with keeping herself in control of causing her own physical violence. It only really happens when people think it's funny to make fun of her, her fans, or those who are evo.

She will be a victim at some point in time

Hallo lovelies. I swear it'll be longer before you have to hear from me again, but as of now, I bring you character #3, Detective Jonathan Martin Jr.

He is 35, a homicide detective at BPD, and a natural. He completely means well in life and is trying to continue the past Chief of Police's legacy (who was his father, naturally), but he's hit a lot of speedbumps along the way. He is a playful guy though he's completely devoted to his work, can get aggressive, and hold grudges until the end of the earth. He has a son who means the world to him, but his ex won custody and high-tailed it out of Boston after the divorce. John's still fighting tooth and nail for visitation rights and won't give up, ever. Yet he has a bit of a drinking problem and is pretty suspicious about powers and is anti.

He might look rather serious, but don't let that overly dramatic pout set you off. He's pretty outgoing, not at all camera shy, loves drama and theatrics, and can teleport through shadows. Sort of. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Lizi again, here to introduce you to Carly O'Shea, the Chief Medical Examiner at the BPD! She's 47 and she has the power of recessive clairsentience! Her power is sort of complex... she sees little flashes of pictures of events tied to objects she touches, and she can't really control it... but she uses it for work as long as Mathis isn't around.

Hey everyone!

Emily here with the last intro she'll do for a while (except desperately-needed NPC she's working on). I've already played with him a bit in the comm already, but his bio's finally done, so I'm throwing up an OOC post.

Meet Lukas Fox 2.0! He's 24, a 2nd year law student at Harvard, and he's Lily's son. His dad is a politician, so he's always had just a bit of a presence in the public eye. This version of Luke is pretty similar to the old one - easy to get along with (for the most part), commitment issues, show-offy - but the biggest difference is his power. (Oh BTW he's still bi and he's pretty much okay with it, but he still kind of makes an effort to keep it on the DL because of that whole public perception thing.) He's got dominant areokinesis, so he can totally fly (if there's enough wind). He's a complete show-off where his power is concerned and loves to preform for people, both through dancing (he's been taking ballet and other forms of dance since he was seven) and "sky dancing" which is... pretty much what it sounds like. He'll be preforming at the PEM rally, so if you want your characters to have seen him there, go for it!

He's already got connections to Mal and Wolf (his childhood friends) and Lily (obviously), but he totally needs more friends! And exes. And enemies. And everything else! (Oh, and there are two premades up on the list for him. His dad and a journalist trying to make his life hell. Check it out!)

Hey all! Just letting you know I'll be taking a hiatus from now until...probably mid-April while I work on finishing up my thesis.

SO. To add to the confusion and parade of OOC posts, I'm letting you know that I'm changing little bits of Eisen's personality. His app will change accordingly, but he's going to be less of a literary nerd than he was before. He's still going to be fundamentally the same person, and he still has intuitive aptitude, which is what makes him good at his job but instead of being a literature nerd and super smart, he's going to be a regular old puzzle nerd (and a bit of a language nerd and music nerd... as an homage to the previous incarnation of Eisen), and just... regular smart.

Any and all previously-posted Eisen related scenes haven't happened yet, and I will be changing his profile accordingly later tonight. :) Consider this an open plot post for Eisen, though. :)

Sky here again! And with that promised character #2, Dr. Robert Mathis. He's a new medical examiner in Boston, having recently moved from Washington, D.C. He is a patient and calm individual who is completely devoted to his work. He favors efficiency over all else and comes across as distant and weary outside of work. He has the recessive ability of power negation, and evos will find their powers fading away when they are near him. This cannot be helped-- Robert has no control over it, though recessive evos have their powers negated faster than dominant evos. And when one leave Robert's presence, his/her ability will gradually come back.

But that's not all-- Robert is a qualified medical examiner, but that is merely his cover story. He is actually a BEA Senior Special Agent and is on undercover assignment as Special Agent Keating's handler.

Hello, it's Julie with a new #2 (D is too much of an antisocial hermit to rely on, haha.)

This is Theophile Montclaire, or Theo as everyone calls him. He's apparently the games first (and hopefully not only, maybe? idk?) non-powered character. So, he's a nat, but a very pro-evo one due to having a really good evo friend growing up.

He's pretty much a clumsy boy next store type, sweet and clueless, a little shy about things he shouldn't be shy about, and kind of a goody-two-shoes dork. He's 21, and from a small town in Louisiana's Arcadia country, so yes, technically he's a Cajun. He moved to Boston about a year ago, hoping to eventually save up enough money to go to Le Cordon Bleu culinary school. He works at the same crappy diner Francis does, also as a cook, but occasionally forced to do cash registers (he's not allowed to do any waiting, it turns out bad, like, with food all over the floor and broken dishes on people's laps.) He's also really into the 1950s (who cares if it was almost 200 years ago in this time line! The 50s will always be cool.) and rides around on this sweet ass bike (but a replica, of course, he's too poor to own a 200 year old bike.)

Uhhh...so, friends, enemies, neighbors, people to run in to? If he stumbled onto an evo-rally he'd probably go to it.

Hello! New player and new character here! (With a second character forthcoming, so watch out!) I'm Sky, and this is Toby Søren, the local Firearms & Explosives specialist at the crime lab. He's a bit of an excitable goofball, thinking and talking a mile a minute, so it's only natural that he's a teleporter. He's a recessive, so can only teleport on lightwaves, which creates a lot of (amusing) scenarios for him in terms of his accuracy and control... and lack thereof. A source with too many variables will send him god-knows-where, while strong emotions will initiate his power. He's originally from Denmark and studied physics and chemistry at MIT. He has quite the brain inside his skull, but he isn't street savvy at all and could be prone to getting into trouble. Adventures are the greatest, sweets win him over in a heartbeat, he plays the piano whenever he does get home and settle down, and he loves his work. You can read more about him in his bio!

I would tell you that this would be my last character intro, was I not completely aware of how false that statement was, but yes. This is Lizi, and this is Logan Reynolds.

He's that street musician you see on the side of the road - the one worthy of the change in your pocket. Aside from that, though, he works at the Charlestown Naval Shipyard in construction, and he's an informant for the BPD. I would say that he's a friendly dude, and that he's easy to get along with, but that would be a lie. He's something of a misanthrope with a chip on his shoulder that has to do with a rough past spent in various foster homes. He's a recessive evo with the power of telepathy, which he tries not to use, but it tends to come out when he least wants it to.

Okay, so. OOC notice to let you all know that I'm aging Mal down, changing her PB and taking her out of the lead detective role... and also changing her power and screen name. She's now 23, a photoanalyst/crime scene photographer (with the power of dominant terrakinesis) and played by Dianna Agron. She's silly, fun-loving and a little bit immature, but very, very easy to get along with for the most part. This Mal is like old, Genome Mal (for those of you who knew her) in that she's a nice girl, but also a nosy Nelly, and doesn't know how to keep out of other people's business. Also, I'm dropping Ben DeRossi, and he is going to stay a regular old non-playable NPC for now. I may bring him back eventually, but it's just not in the cards at the moment.

Guys, I swear I will stop introing characters. They're plot-related okay?! >> Ahem. This is Emily again, bringing you the new and improved Calvin Parker, miss Charlie Parker's twin brother. He's 30, he's a writer, and he has very tactile recessive precognition. At one point in his life thought he was going crazy, but after a few months of recovery and therapy at a mental hospital when he was in his early twenties, he learned that he's an evo. He's still slowly coming to terms with that, though, and he doesn't really spread it around. Those of you that were familiar with old!Calvin will notice some changes, mainly that he's much more personable than old!Calvin was. And also a lot less science oriented. He's a psychic detective writer ("starving artist" according to him) who manages a sweet little coffee shop located near the police department and writes in his spare time. I imagine it might be the shop of choice for the police officers to go get their morning coffee, so there'd be a little connection to the BPD there. He also sends in anonymous tips to the police when he can.

He's got a built-in connection to Charlie, of course, but he needs more! Friends, enemies, random coffee-shop-goers, people he can see visions of... go! (Oh, and please run the friend button too!)

This is Frankie, 16 years old, and used to live with a traveling carnival! The city life is pretty new to her so she is all innocent and vulnerable. She knows how to take care of herself to an extent, thanks to her awesome caretaker that she ran away with. Yes, she ran away from the carnie life. The reason why she ran away was because they family started to change and used her power to steal things for them, like money, food, clothing, all the things you would need to survive. It is kind of in her to steal because she started it at a young age.

Oh, yes, she is a dom with the power of invisibility. And she thinks it is pretty awesome.

She is immature for her age. So I wouldn't be surprised if people are put off by the way she acts around others' xD But she is the sweetest thing in the world! She'll make everyone smile by just smiling herself! It doesn't take a lot for her to get upset, but she hides it pretty well until she is in the comfort of her own room. And she likes stealing collecting shiny things.

Hi everyone! New player, and new character here. I'm Dany, and this is Noelle Hawthorne, who's been working with BPD for 12 years, as a regular officer for 9 of those. 3 years ago, her husband of 7 years (also an officer with BPD) was shot while on duty. After taking some time off she returned and requested to be a K-9 handler. She's excellent at this because she has the ability to communicate telepathically with animals. Her current K-9 is a black female German Shepherd called Trixie, who is with her at all times when she's on duty. Noelle is also a vegan because of her power, can be a bit of a workaholic, sarcastic sometimes but still friendly and outgoing. She does keep up a wall sometimes to keep people out because she's scared of losing anyone else - her sister died the year before her husband. Anyway, I'm terrible at introductions, but the rest of her information is here, if you'd like to take a look! All plot is welcome, and I'm looking forward to playing with all of you. :)

So I've already posted with Rosa a few times, but I figured that it might be worth it to make an OOC post for her as well. This is Rosa Keating: empath, telekinetic, and BEA agent extraordinaire. She's had a hard life. She was born into a cult of evos that was trying to create an evo master race, which is how she ended up with two recessive powers, telekinesis and empathy. the empathy, which is hard to control because it's recessive and means that she has a lot of trouble keeping other people's emotions from affecting her own. Anyway, the cult was broken up by the Bureau of Evolutionary Affairs when Rosa was ten and she was basically adopted by the government and raised to be an agent. She didn't actually register her empathy until she was 18, and as you can imagine the media firestorm was rather huge. She's something of a celebrity now, although totally not by choice, so it's likely that most characters would at least know her name. (Like, you know how everyone in Harry Potter knows Harry's name because omg he survived? It's like that, except omg two powers.) Oh and have I mentioned that she's a giant bitch? Very professional at work, but also incredibly manipulative.

Anyway, she just got into Boston so she needs connections. She'll be working closely with people at the BEA especially, and she'll probably want to do interviews with the evos there. Otherwise, feel free to have people just randomly gawk at her and be all "OMG TWO POWERS." She will not like it, though. Not one bit.

Hello everyone!

So we were thinking that, since most of us didn't get the typical, character-by-character OOC post that is so useful in forming connections, we'd throw up a game-wide plotting post. We already tried one of these a few weeks ago, but now that our characters are a bit more established, it might be worth it to do one again. So! Please comment on this post and give us a little detail on what kind of lines you'd like your character to have (and maybe give us a little refresher on where they are in the plot). An example would be:

Glory Powers
She's a newly transferred detective at the BPD, and she could really use some friends!

And then hopefully someone would comment and say "hey! My character X works there too and could totally be friends with her!" So it's basically like a little mini OOC intro post :) To make things a little less confusing this time around, please make a different comment for every character you've got in play and want lines for, so things don't get quite so cluttered and confusing. And remember, if none of the lines that you really, really want (and think could tie into the Big Plot somehow) get filled, there's always the premade list!

ALSO! We realize that a lot of people jumped into playing already and most of us (mods included) are still working on the actual character apps. If you could please toss a comment on the app page when your apps are done (both to let us know that you're done and so we have a nice little record of it) that would be excellent! We're hoping to officially open as a game in a few weeks, and it would be nice to have all the character apps completed before we open.
