Check my journal. I'm looking for long-term partners that won't flake off.
Musings has always existed, a world alongside our world. In Musings, people live the way we do, eat the same food we do, love the same way we do, and work the same minimum wage jobs we do. The differences? They all have their roots in fictional characters, and they are immortal. Though they are not the characters themselves, they carry in them the essences of characters from fiction. The sources that they spring from do not exist for them, but they are based on fiction we are familiar with all the same - though no one has ever read a Batman comic, there is a rich young man who uses his money to fight the forces of evil that destroyed his life. Though Moby Dick was never written, a sailor still stalks the bars of a town on the sea, watching, waiting. Now, a portal has opened between the world of Musings and the mortal world, and the Creations (as they call themselves) have begun crossing over in droves. Now, they have abilities that they did not have in their own world, abilities that they can choose to do with what they will. There is no great prescribed fate for these echoes of fiction, only the destinies they choose to weave for themselves - living and losing on the shores of a new world. Most Wanted: Lyra seeks a Lord Asriel (His Dark Materials), Howl seeks a Sophie (Howl's Moving Castle), Ramona seeks a Gideon (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World), Black Cat seeks a Spider-Man (Spider-Man), Pepper seeks an Iron Man (Iron Man), Dean seeks a Castiel (Supernatural). |
The names Potter and Dumbledore have been splashed across every Wizarding news print around the world in these past summer months. Are they trust-worthy or aren’t they? That truly is the big question, as to which no one seems to know. The month of September has finally rolled around bringing the start of a new school year with it, involving the beloved Trio in their sixth year. Dolores Umbridge has been appointed the Defence Against The Dark Arts teacher for the second year in a row, continuing to fuel everyone’s uncertainty about the ministry. We all know the story of Draco Malfoy’s betrayal to the school he had once called home, of how Severus Snape gave Albus his bitter release of death and of course how within the years to follow how the one and only Dark Lord was defeated. But what if. What if that never happened? What if Severus and Albus never spoke of the Horcrux’s and of Harry’s fate? What if Draco was never given that mission? | |
