After the seventh year, comes the eighth. Voldemort has been defeated, the dust has settled and everyone is working hard to rebuild their lives following the end of the war. One would think that it would be a time of peace and healing... But not everyone is pleased with the demise of the Dark Lord. For he was a leader, and what's a leader without his followers? These followers didn't just disappear after Voldemort's death, no, they only went into hiding. Recruiting from their position in the shadows, the remaining Death Eaters are targeting the younger generation in order to restore their population and finish what they started. Those not aware of the darkness still surrounding them are going on with their lives as best they can. Only time will tell if things are really changing for the better. Or perhaps the world is merely being led into a false sense of security. |

Holds Application Cast FAQ Everything Else! In 2023, the first Wizard University was opened in Ipswich, England. Offering an alternative to traditional internships, the school was a welcome relief to places such as St Mungos and Professional Quidditch Teams, where applicants far exceeded the vacancies. One year later the school is thriving with nine offered subjects, co-ed fraternities, street games, and Quidditch tournaments. Gossip and rumours, pranks, and day-to-day mishaps make college life anything but boring. Just mind the occasional streaker. WMU is a next generation Harry Potter game set at university. With a focus on character development, good storylines, and both friendships and relationships between characters, we’ve gone back to basics that make role play fun. We encourage good writing, journaling, threading, and our players to simply relax and have fun. WANTED: Merwyn and Morgana students, fraternity students, quidditch players, and your homeless HP characters |

a casual game set in the fictional town of Lyric, California. Lyric, California isn't a town that much different from any other. It's got nice weather, a college, some high schools with bitter rivalries... And a population entirely made up of the real-life incarnations of songs. It's nothing supernatural, and no one really notices it, but whenever someone from outside of Lyric comes to visit, people get the inevitable "Gosh, your life is just like Jesse's Girl" or "I can't believe he actually wears his sunglasses at night." |
••In-Game Information •Rules/FAQ •Application •Superpower List •Wanted •Cast List •Mod Contact •Initiative •Network •OOC | In the 1950s a secret organization started to test the limits of human genetics and structure. With science moving faster than ever towards a new horizon, they were determined to be the first to bring humans to the future. In 2009, a chemical was developed that affected people with a certain genetic marker on their DNA. In a world-wide incident that would later be claimed as multiple terror attacks, the chemical was released into the world’s water sources. Whether this was an action of the Initiative themselves or a rogue agent looking to cause chaos in the world is still up for debate. As of March 2010 stories have surfaced around the world of people performing extraordinary feats such as teleportation, flying, and even moving things with their minds. Helix began to find and ‘collect’ these special humans; deceiving some by offering help, or abducting others if they resist. No one knows the location they have been taken, somehow they always fall asleep during the ride or just miraculously appear in the medical ward of the building. Here they will live and receive training to develop control over their powers until Helix decides they are ready to start the second phase of their training. |
You think you know London, its streets and alleys like the creases of your palm. You don't know all its secrets. In its depths are places to buy amulets and tarot readings, a talisman that permits the wearer to manipulate luck hangs alongside bottles of herbs and demon's blood. Books so ancient the pages are tissue-thin jostle against postcards of buses and telephone boxes. There are bars where the clientèle don't just find the dim light flattering, but downright necessary, and the smell of brimstone lingers in the nostrils. There are corners and recesses where magic isn't trickery or sleight of hand, but blood and bone and flesh and you might -- you might -- catch sight of feathers pure as snow and light, if you know where to go. If you know how to see. There's a pitched battle being fought for this other London and your London besides -- one in which every human in existence is being counted in a gamble for souls, Heaven and Hell trying to tip the scales and grave-faced Librarians holding them steady. And all the time, people go about their lives with a little pinch of something extra in a London you'll never see. |
