Dark Mark Rising

The year is 1976, and the marauders have entered their sixth year. There has been talk in pureblood families of a 'Dark Lord', a man who's sole interest is purifying the wizarding world of muggles and muggleborns. He has enlisted the help of Hogwarts students, staff, and men living in Hogsmeade. With these minions, Lord Voldemort has already attacked many muggleborns, blood traitors, and Hogwarts. With the increasing attacks on Hogwarts, Headmaster Dumbledore has been given few options. After a muggleborn's death, the Headmaster has decided to lock the school, while letting the students outdoors for select hours of the day. The Ministry of Magic has sent Hogwarts six aurors to help protect students and screen mail. No one gets in, and no one gets out. Many students believe the attacks are coming from within Hogwarts, and fear the worst.

What are the students to do? Headmaster Dumbledore has come up with the only possible solution - he needs help. He needs a group of trusted people to fight back, and so begins the Order of the Phoenix. Slowly but surely these young witches and wizards will be trained to fight and protect themselves.

Welcome to Chicago. Home of over 2.8 million people. The third largest city in the United States. This is District 19. Home of Police, Fire Departments, and Northwestern Hospital. This is a game based on the emergency services of those brave men and women who work and serve this District. Lake Michigan borders to the South of the district and O'Hare is nearby and considered within district limits. Considering the size of the city, the crime rate is on the decrease due to the work of these emergency technicians. Still there's always something for them to do.... These are their stories. And the stories of their family and friends and those they serve to protect. Come one and all to this fast growing game. This is a PB community, all original characters.

for the end of the world

	The end of the world came not with ice; it came not gently, it came not quietly. The end of the world came with flames burning to the intensity of the sun. The end of the world had been the product of man's greed, of their hubris and their insatiable thirst for war. A hundred arrogant men, a single war, and a dozen atomic bombs set off simutaneously world-wide – it was the perfect ingredients for a disaster, and so came the end. Little more than thirty years have passed since The War. Out of the ashes of destruction rose the World Government, heralding as the new protectors of a ruined earth. Cities were rebuilt, people brought together. It would be a new time of peace, they declared. No longer would humanity have to fear wars and suffering, no longer would they be subjected to such torments ever again. As with all things, however, it was a promise too good to be kept. It was a promise they would be forced to break. But humanity never changed. It is the most basic of instincts to defend oneself, and so in the ravaged lands the newly-formed Government didn't pay attention to, it was exactly that: kill or be killed. The Wastelands quickly became a kingdom of carnage, ruled over by deranged survivors of The War who had or wanted little to do with the ever-changing world. They became known as Raiders, and they preyed on other survivors foolish enough to wander unprotected into their lands. Coupled with the existence of such Undesirables, the Government faces a new threat: a rebellion. Led by one of their own, The Rebellion has forced the World Government into a corner. Out of desperation has the Government tightened its hold over its citizens, doing all they can to appear more and more appealing to the masses everyday. But as time passes and more people are made aware of the Known World's secret happenings, the question begs itself: When the world comes crashing down, on whose side will you stand? ❦ Bitter Season is a post-apocalyptic original roleplay game set in the near-future. We are a community of serious writers, of those who wish to create a unique character and take advantage of the world the moderators have created for you. This game is not for those who are easily disturbed by elements of gore, rape, incest, and torture. However, that said, this game is also not for those who are only looking for those elements in a game. We are plot-and-thread driven, using the communities as a means for our characters to communicate with one another rather than base all interaction solely on "the network." I know it's a long shot but came across some Dark Angel material today and now I'm craving it.

It wouldn't need to be canon, something set in that universe would be divine. If you haven't seen it, it's essentially about a group of genetically engineered soldiers who escaped as children into a dystopian future.

They had been granted an opportunity to put right everything that had gone wrong. Can Harry save his parents? Can Draco fix it so he is never asked to kill Dumbledore? Can Peter escape the lure of the Death Eaters? Can Severus keep Lily safe? Or could they possibly make everything worse?

Want something a little different? Looking for an AU game? A marauder-era game? A trio-era game? A game where you can play an evil Death Eater without people assuming that you are a horrible person in real life? A game where you can play an Order member with some actual opposition in-game? A game with talented players, an abundance of plot, and a promise not to die? ;-) Chronic Resurrection is a dark Harry Potter game set in 1979 and 2000 exploring the AU that arises following the inadvertent time-travel of four key individuals from 2000. The game is set at the beginning of the fifth season episode You’re Welcome. Cordelia wakes from her coma, but in this game she is not surprised by the changes everyone has undergone. Her coma was not just a dead sleep. While comatose, Cordelia was dreaming about some of the things to come. Most of all, that meant the apocalypse. She woke with a message for Angel and the other new owners of Wolfram & Hart - Prepare to take your final stand.

Now the team is scouring the globe for exceptional people. Whether their specialty is magic or holding their own in a fight, Angel and the others need all of the extra help they can get.

This is a multi-jossverse & supernatural rpg. Firefly, Leverage, Heroes, Angel, and Buffy characters are welcome. We are also now excepting certain original characters.

Born to Lily and James Potter, left a scarred orphan before his second birthday, and deemed The Chosen One after Voldemort's return. The boy who spent a year scouring the country for the remaining Horcruxes while war raged and countless died. But what if you could change history? Shortly before his death in 1997, Albus Dumbledore held a meeting with the Order of the Phoenix, and he invited several of the adult members of the D.A. as well. With the help of the Department of Mysteries, he was able to procure what few time turners remained, and he asked more of the Order than he ever has before.
