In the year 2075, the Earth Defense Force received a distress signal from a small mining facility on the surface of Mars. A group of rebels who called themselves the Red Faction had overthrown the ruthless Ultor Corporation after years of oppression. In response, the E.D.F. launched a fleet of warships to mars to free the minster, bring Ultor to justice and restore order to the Martian colonies. In order to ensure safety and security for the newly liberated colonists, the E.D.F. set up command posts and bases across the planet. Initially, under the E.D.F.'s rule, the people of mars prospered: colonists established homesteads, built towns and independent mining operations, and begun to stake their claim on Mars. |

For centuries, the Ancient and Most Noble House of Black have ruled the Wizarding World. The crown has passed from father to son, and never has the line been broken. But the Black line has been dwindling for years, and after the heir to the throne, Sirius, was disowned in 1997, it was up to his younger brother Regulus to take the reins. Only problem is, secretly Regulus never wanted to be King, and he certainly never wanted the arranged marriage and the constant scrutiny that came along with it. With political turmoil in the air as the line of succession plots against the heir, it is only a matter of time before backstabbing, deceit, and murder take their place within the royal court. To make things worse, when Sirius left the royal family, he formed the Blackcoats, a group of witches and wizards whose goal it is to see the monarchy demolished. They will do whatever it takes to tear down the royal family and the nobles who follow them. In a country on the brink of anarchy and open rebellion, both sides must fight to preserve what they believe in, no matter the cost. |

Legend holds that when Gaia, the over-mind, created Judoh, it understood that as long as the city would be led by one of their own, it would become prey to the same vices and mistakes that plagued the rest of the society. In practice, after countless years of wars and political struggle, the mastermind designed a city built to thrive in spite of the passage of time. It built over the ruins of open conflict, turning casualties of mortars into the foundations of a scintillating city. It instilled rules and regulations and brought humans prosperity in exchange for obedience. As in the Bible, those who did not obey were thrown out of Paradise. |

Diagon Alley – Summer 2003 Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood. ~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow The Department of Magical Games and Sports is proud to announce that England has made the World Cup Championships! To celebrate such a momentous occasion, local businesses of Diagon Alley have chosen to sponsor an intramural Quidditch League. Contact the Ministry of Magic, Department of Games and Sports with any questions! League games to start June 15th and run right through until game day, August 26th. (The Quidditch World Cup Championships will be held in Wales.) Charing Cross has a small group of dedicated, talented creative writers who always excited for new friends. We're looking for equally dedicated writers who want to experience a slightly different RPG experience. The mods are friendly and easy-going and encourage player input. We're looking for players who bring something slightly different to the table as well, with fresh, exciting characters. There are plenty of interactive experiences just waiting to happen, so give us a chance and we think you'll be pleasantly surprised. | Jus In Bello is a next gen game opening July 1st! The magical world has been unveiled and tensions are high. As the Minster shouts of peace and understanding, whispers of war flood the air. Hate crimes are climbing on both sides and the Muggle governments are being watched with suspicion and paranoia. The students of Hogwarts return to the safe haven of the castle with their society hanging in the balance and some very serious decisions before them. Wait and hope for the best? Live as though the world is as it should be? Or prepare to defend their right to live? The Dark Arts are brought out of retirement not out of a hunger for power or cruelty but as a desperate grasp toward anything that might equal the might of well trained men with guns. Others, under the direction of the Headmaster, are determined to rid the Dark Arts from Hogwarts once again and do everything in their power to see a peaceful resolution to the volatile situation. Houses are divided as they haven't been since Voldemort's reign and the halls of Hogwarts are gradually becoming anything but a haven. Through it all their lives rush onward with classes, love affairs, bruised friendships and unlikely alliances. The hopeful pray that the storm will pass but the realists are right when they whisper, "Things are only going to get worse." |

Deceptive Perception The land known as Inora consists of a set of islands that cradle more than just mortals in its loving embrace. They were said to have been created by vampires long ago. This gave them a place to live among the mortals who fed them while painting the earth red with blood. Eventually, other races were thrown into the fray and a century of war was fought for supremacy. Centuries passed between rulers and the times of war seemed to almost be forgotten. The treaty between the demons and vampires has always been upheld. The werewolves have always protected the treaty and, eventually, winds of change blew through the lands. Times evolved and an industrial revolution took hold. All was well with the lands. The latest in a long line of demonic kings has died and the vampires have come back into the throne. Even with this change, death and violence still run rampant through Inora's streets and it seems the Gunslingers are unable to stop it. GAME BEING RESTARTED JUNE 22ND! |

| PROLOGUE |
You wake up one morning with a headache, you wonder if you're hung-over but you didn't drink anything last night so that can't be it and after taking a painkiller and heading to work you forget all about it. A few days later you think you back to your childhood and there's a memory that doesn't fit, it doesn't make sense and you try not to think about it because it sets you and edge and makes you feel uncomfortable. It doesn't stop. Maybe weeks go by, or maybe it's months, and someone turns up on your doorstep. Maybe they look official, or they're wearing jeans and a T-Shirt, but they introduce themselves and tell you that they're from something called 'The Agency', they sit you down and if you're lucky they'll make you a cup of tea or pour you a drink before explaining it all to you. The memories are real, but they're someone else's, someone you always thought of as fictional. You're what they call a reincarnate, someone who's been reincarnated from this fictional person, brought into this world with magic that no one yet understands. They talk about a war that's being fought between two sides of reincarnates, the good and the bad. You're not told what side to pick or that you need to, but you know that a day will come when you and the person you were and are possibly becoming will need to choose. |

People get lost in the pages of books all the time, whisked away into worlds of imagination created by talented authors. People leave the real world behind for just a little bit as they sink into the written word. Couldn't it go both ways? What if while you're reading about the characters in the book; they are reading you? Perhaps you remember it; that quaint little book shop, it has big bay windows which always displays some book of interest to those special few, beckoning them to pause in their busy life, step inside and maybe look just a little closer. The Bookstores motto is "Life is a series of Open Books", it's shelves are packed with books of every kind, thick, thin, small, tall and wide. Not just books, anything that contains a story, or even just a page. Everything is packed; racks, shelves, and sometimes just stacked on the floor or available counter-space, all in a seeming disarray with no real organized system. Some fire hazard surely. You never really caught the name of the place, something just drew you through the shelves and racks until you found some particular piece of literature... Perhaps you took it to the cashier, some elderly type who smiled kindly and rung up your purchase, placing it in a simple blue bag with little more than a passing 'Good choice', perhaps you tucked it into your jacket and slinked out the door unwilling to meet the shopkeepers eye, whatever the circumstance, you somehow managed to aquire something to read. Perhaps you never went to the shop at all.. maybe your parents, or grandparents did and you simply found the book and receipt years later. Maybe you read it right away, maybe you tucked it into your bedside drawer and forgot about it for months, maybe you are sorting out the attic and run across the book, either way, sooner or later; you find yourself opening the pages and begin to read. But this book it's special, the more you read, the further into the story you go, until you're finished reading it's all you can dream about, more and more as you read you feel yourself drawn toward a particular Persona. More and more you recognize things in your own life that could parallel that Persona, you see yourself as that Persona, you dream of their life, perhaps daydream it, who knows. Whether you read the book once, or a thousand times, each time it's the same, drawing you in, haunting you. It's after the first time that you finish that maybe you begin to notice something, like something about you has changed, something is just a little different. Suddenly there is a talent or skill you didn't know you had before, suddenly there is an awareness of others like yourself who were drawn into stories only to find that when they finished they had changed in some little special way. Perhaps it's good, perhaps it's bad, what you do from here? is your choice. The quaint bookstore with its big bay windows if you try to go back... is gone. | |

Premise
For as long as humans have recorded their history, there has always been mention of those that could change form.The Egyptians, for instance, had worshipped strange half human, half animal 'gods'. While the Native Americans believed that people had spirit animals that guided them and reflected their true character.
Mythology features many creatures that can take on or show human characteristics. And then there are the stories of dark and horrifying were-beings that cursed people turn into once every full moon.
All these stories have one thing in common - their true basis is about Therians.
In modern times, the Therians keep their ability secret and live amongst the rest of humanity. Although, there is a specific town where Therians thrive. Though, in recent times, many non-therians have moved to live there and thus the abilities are kept from those that do not know of their existence.
The Therians are not cursed like the were-beings of the stories and can change at will - there is, however, a specific time when their change is forced and out of their own control. The full moon.
