Are there any pb-based or possibly pan-fandom supernatural or horror games out there that might accept a Elisabeth Harnois pb-based character? I don't have a lot of her details worked out, but I have some. She's sort of different in the fact that she isn't a vampire or werewolf or anything paranormal-based, but she's dealt with the paranormal, and was almost killed because of it and/or a cult. That said, would there be any games out there that would accept her?
Also, are there any games that might want Veritas, the goddess of truth? I'm pretty positive I'd be using Allison Mack as her pb.

Rumors have told of a land of lush, fertile soil, blue skies, and clean water. But to get there, we will have to pass through nature's deadliest elements, avoid radioactive fallout, and witness the worst of humanity. Not to mention the creatures that seem to be picking our band apart, smaller and smaller. What are these beasts that slip out of the night and feast on human flesh? What fallen comrades have we seen rise again, stretching out their claws in hunger? We live in fear, and survive on hope - but who brought these stories of a new life in the East in the first place? And even if we do manage to find it, what will we do when we get there? And what if the promises of a new Eden are all just desperate, sharp-edged lies? This week: Traversing across the desert waste of North Dakota. |

| PROLOGUE |
There's an elite boarding school an hour away from San Francisco that's dedicated to the education of children with superpowers: Veritas Academy. Veritas takes these children in and helps them control their gifts - trying to turn them into productive members of society. The lucky few become heroes and villains that are respected and feared the world over, but the rest also have real stories to tell. They are known as businesspeople, lawyers, doctors, academics, nurses, and teachers. They are the people you know, but never stop to truly wonder about. There are success stories and failures that are known everywhere, but not everyone can be Superman. The majority of the students remain virtually unknown to the majority of the public as they go about their everyday jobs and lead their everyday lives. The Veritas Alumni Association decided to follow the trend that had been set by Livejournal, Facebook and MySpace, and set up their own social networking site. It became known as something that old students use to keep in touch with friends, watch their enemies and complain about their everyday lives. Yet in between the complaints, arguments and laughs that the students are having, something is beginning to interrupt their lives: Someone is killing alumni, and no one knows who's going to be next. |

It's a gathering point for all those muses who are looking for a place to just relax and talk to those who wander on by. Fandom Dressing is a low pressure dressing room, designed to allow players the opportunity to test new muses, refresh old ones, and play with their current crew in a brand new setting. It is open to any kind of muse you can think of, and the object of the community is to just have fun. So what are you waiting for? Rules No applications required. This is a dressing room, so any characters are welcome. All you have to do it post to the community. As this is a dressing room, you are likely to find a wide range of characters from a variety of fandoms, including AU versions and original characters. If you aren't willing to put up with these, then this may not be the best kind of setting to play in. There is no limit as to the numbers of each character that may exist here. However, it would be appreciated if players could at least place basic details about their character in their journal profile. Their name and fandom, at least. If they are an AU version, then details about any significant changes would be welcome, but are not compulsory. Wank. Your characters may hate each other. It may be canon. It may have come up during your time playing here. But remember the IC/OOC divide. What's true to your character stays with your character. Don't make things personal. It's just common courtesy. Mod contact: If there is an issue that arises that cannot be handled ooc, you are welcome to contact the mod journal for help. However, please only use it as a last resort. Suspensions and bans are words I'd rather avoid indefinitely. |

Wherever you were, whether you were sleeping or simply resting your eyes at the time, is long gone. Now, you're in the middle of the forest and beside the fact that you were one place last you remember and are now in completely another, something else still feels off. On your person is nothing except a small "survival kit" with an unfamiliar logo; two words in Latin: Vas Captio. The kit contains soggy matches, a packet of Tic Tacs, a pair of tube socks, a bottle of water, and a journal with a pen taped to it. When you finally feel together enough to get up and walk, making your way out of the forest, you come upon an abandoned village. Welcome to vas_captio_rpg. You're on our time now, so sit back, try to relax, and just be yourself. That's why you're here, after all; we are very interested in studying you. | Located in the western part of the state, this mid-sized town has mostly failed to live up to its grandiose name. It's big enough that no one knows everyone else, small enough that a new face is noticeable. The leaves are lovely in the fall, tourists stop through with reasonable regularity, and nothing much ever changes. Or didn't. Some of the townspeople have dreams. Recurring dreams about blood, and horses, and steel. About silken gowns, and hawking, and high spires. About loyalties and rivalries long faded into legend. Most of them have shrugged the dreams off. They're only dreams. But things are beginning to change after all. Britannia, NY is a brand-new Arthurian game set in the present day. Arthur has returned, but so has his sister-enemy, Morgan. Characters will have to come to grips with past life memories, choose a side, forge alliances -- and hope to prevail. In the year 2008, a virus swept North America. Ever vigilant for a pandemic, citizens boarded up their windows, stockpiled their canned goods, and turned their neighbors in to the CDC. Short wave radios fell off the shelves, evacuation routes were prepared. Gas masks and specialty filtration systems were distributed. Pills were available for those showing early symptoms. Pills that did not work. That were later replaced with cyanide as their active ingredient. For those who were brave enough to put their fingers near a loved one's mouth. The United States, Canada, Mexico, the virus swept down into South America and festered in the heat of the jungle. In some places it burned out. Superstition ruled and saved lives. But nothing stopped the virus. Three months after the first diagnosed case of Currere Excessum was recorded, NATO approved Great Britain's use of nuclear force against the United States. It was assumed that all organic material would be reduced to ash under the impact. It was assumed that the Quarantine of the Americas would be temporary, at best. Any who survived the blast would be given the highest in humanitarian attention and medical care. The only American emissaries who knew of the plan lay incinerated in Washington. The Quarantine continued. The Americas lay abandoned. Empty. |

spentmod: NOW HIRING.Set in NYC, this is an office-based rpg. Spent is a men's magazine, comparable to Maxim and Stuff. Gameplay is centered in the Spent offices, but often extends into the city and beyond. Everyone has a place at Spent, from janitors to top executives. Sometimes crazy and often entertaining, this game has been around for a few years and continues to thrive. The only question is, are you up for the challenge?

stratfordmods London, EnglandA year ago Stratford Publishing Incorporated was a small time publishing company that no one had heard of. In the Spring of 2008 a new CEO bought up the company and by the fall it was one of the biggest publishing companies in London. Somehow beating out all the competition the stock prices skyrocketed, leaving Stratford Publishing Inc. the strong company it is today. As one of the biggest employers in London and the outlying areas people have come to respect the large building with the big, tinted windows not all that far from the London eye. People count on Stratford Publishing for their careers and it has become a strong, almost over-powering part of the community.
So come on in, check it out and join one of the most successful publishing firms of it's time. Don't pay attention to any of the strange things that are happening.
