Halloween, 1981, the Dark Lord Voldemort fell at the hands of one-year old Harry Potter, bringing an end to a decade long reign of terror, to the relief of the entire Wizarding World. To an outsider, Pine Creek looks like your typical, small Midwest town but those who have grown up in Pine Creek and those with a special awareness know to be afraid of what lies below. You see, the small border town of Pine Creek, Missouri sits on top of a hellmouth. What exactly is a hellmouth, you might ask? A hellmouth is a location of increased supernatural activity. A hellmouth is an area in which the barriers between dimensions are weak. A hellmouth is the very portal between earth and Hell. For those who are aware; some choose simply to ignore the supernatural occurrences, some try to educate themselves and others so as to better be equipped to battle the evil, and some choose to get their hands dirty and slay the evil. Which will you be?
You could choose to be Watchers (these are the educators), Slayers (those who do battle), Evil Beings (demons, vampires, ect...) and even those unaware. You might have a college kid, a school teacher, a mechanic. It's up to you and anyone one of these people might live their daily lives under the guise of normalcy while spending their evenings watching and battling evil.

A loud bang was heard in the ministry of magic, the sound piercing through many of the corridors, but it was loudest in the Atrium. There was not only the craking in this hallway, but also a piercing light and a great wind that seemed to originate from the very middle of the corridor. The gust of wind was strong enough to knock anyone in the hall off of their feet and back towards the walls. Thus, when the gust, and light, and crack had disappeared, a lone figure was kneeling against the polished dark wood floor. Long dark hair fell, concealing the face of the woman who knelt there, a slender arm outreached, hand pressed against the floor ahead of her. The gown she wore was unusual, in more than the mere fact she wore a gown.
The fabric and style were much more reminicent of a time long gone than any current fashion would suggest. Before any others could regain their foot, the woman lifted her head, eyes searching the room around her. And then, gracefully, she rose to a full standing position, a smile coming to her lips. She ignored the confused gazes and in the silence that had fallen, spoke. Her voice was clear, and the smile remained. "Morning to you all. Tell me, what year is this?"
The year is 2009. The wizarding world has been at peace for nearly eleven years, since the fall of the terrible Lord Voldemort. The infamous trio have all gotten married, had children, and moved on with their lives. That was, until the appearance of the mysterious Morgana le Fay.
No one is sure of Morgana's intentions, nor the how or why that brought her to the future. The history books all say that she was Merlin's greatest enemy, but she's saying otherwise. Is she really there to help, or does she have something more sinister in mind?
But Morgana isn't the only problem. All over the globe, strange things are happening. People who were thought to be dead are popping up in the places that they died. C reatures, both magical and non, that were thought to be extinct are starting to show up all over the place.
Shards of Time is a present day, post-war Harry Potter RPG, seeking dedicated and talented writers to fill important roles for both living characters, and those returning from beyond the grave.

Welcome to the Death Eater Reform Project, a AU Post-Hogwarts, non-Epilogue compliant game. The year is 1999, a year after the end of the Second War. Lord Voldemort is dead, killed by Harry Potter, the Wizarding World’s Hero. But there has been no rest for those in the Ministery. With Kingsley Shacklebolt the newly elected Minister, the Aurors are busier than ever, hunting down the remnants of the Death Eaters. The ones they catch are quickly filling the cells in Azkaban, which makes the already nervous populace even more so. With Dementors no longer guarding the Wizarding prison, fear of Death Eaters escaping runs high. That is when Minister Shacklebolt is approached by a young woman, a Seer with a plan of action. She proposes a melding of good and evil through marriage, a way to reform the Death Eaters into people acceptable by today’s society. She explains to him the hardships all will face in the beginning of the plans implementation, but she also explains the benefits that will come about. The Death Eater Reform Project is then adopted, an article in the Daily Prophet detailing the specifics of the project, explaining their reasoning behind it. Their hopes of creating a better world by having the people themselves reform the Death Eaters. The response to this is mixed, with opposition the majority. Not even the offer of compensation through money could do much to make the populace more receptive. But the Minister and his Seer stand steadfast, waiting the storm out and hoping that fate will not twist and turn the Seer’s future into yet another war. |

Two years have passed since Harry Potter defeated Lord Voldemort. Since then, the Wizarding World has been turned on its head. Minister Shacklebolt was murdered, his post taken up by the Elder of the Wizengamot, Tiberious Ogden, who has been shaking things up politically, leaving many Wizards not too happy with how he is running things. Fenrir Greyback, after months of terrorizing the Wizarding Community, has recently been killed by Aurors McGonagall and Potter, Kingsley Shacklebolt’s killer, Mafalda Hopkirk has been arrested and is facing trial, and Death Eaters are still at large, aimed for revenge. The Wizarding World is not safe.
While the Ministry works at keeping the magical world from experiencing another war, lives move on, people change, careers are built and relationships are tested. The next adventure awaits.

In the year 2008, a virus swept North America. Ever vigilant for a pandemic, citizens boarded up their windows, stockpiled their canned goods, and turned their neighbors in to the CDC. Short wave radios fell off the shelves, evacuation routes were prepared. Gas masks and specialty filtration systems were distributed. Pills were available for those showing early symptoms. Pills that did not work. That were later replaced with cyanide as their active ingredient. For those who were brave enough to put their fingers near a loved one's mouth. The United States, Canada, Mexico, the virus swept down into South America and festered in the heat of the jungle. In some places it burned out. Superstition ruled and saved lives. But nothing stopped the virus. Three months after the first diagnosed case of Currere Excessum was recorded, NATO approved Great Britain's use of nuclear force against the United States. It was assumed that all organic material would be reduced to ash under the impact. It was assumed that the Quarantine of the Americas would be temporary, at best. Any who survived the blast would be given the highest in humanitarian attention and medical care. The only American emissaries who knew of the plan lay incinerated in Washington. Thirty years ago, Albus Dumbledore had defeated the greatest evil of the day, the dark wizard Grindelwald. Little did the wizarding world know, a power so great that it would even defeat Grindelwald himself: Voldemort. Safe - or what seems safe - inside the walls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, four teenage boys who call themselves the Marauders are starting their sixth year. Remus "Moony" Lupin, Peter "Wormtail" Pettigrew, James "Prongs" Potter and Sirius "Padfoot" Black had just discovered two years prior that they could become Animagi, and learned the difficult spells to transform. They also created the infamous Marauders Map - a tool that became useful during the full moon. All good wizards have a dark side, and all evil wizards have a good side, somehow. With Voldemort becoming stronger and starting to gather his followers – the Death Eaters – Dumbledore becomes secretly worried about the students of his school. But none of his charges seem to be concerned about what’s going on in the outside world – they have their own problems, and by the end of their Hogwarts careers, will be right smack in the middle of a war. Life in the 70's was never this difficult. In the Muggle world, it was all about peace, drugs, and rock and roll. In the wizarding world, however, a new fear is brewing. Let the unseen come forth.
