It has been 21 years since Batman first appeared in Gotham.

17 years since he had a run in with Catwoman, an elegant and seductive criminal that turned out to be the love of his (and Bruce Wayne's) life. So much so that she gave up her life of crime to fight along side him (and be Bruce's wife).

And 11 years since he disappeared.

Following a long and gruesome war with the Joker (one the claimed the lives of not only many civilians but Catwoman as well), Bruce Wayne hung up his cape and cowl. With Selina gone, he was now the only person their six year old daughter had and he would not see her orphaned the way he had been. Let the Gotham Police handle the criminals. He was done. From that day forward he would concentrate on being Bruce Wayne -- Father, Philanthropist, and CEO of Wayne Enterprises.

The Joker escaped, off to lick his wounds in Metropolis or whatever city he choose to wreck havoc on next, but the police did manage to get their hands on Harley Quinn. Sent back to Arkham, she remained there for almost ten years before being declared legally sane and rehabilitated.

Now she's back on the streets, supposedly a new person. But then...why is she rounding up some of the Joker's old henchmen. Turns out she is about to declare her own war on the Bat...one that she hopes will bring him out of hiding. Because, you see, she wants to string him up as a welcome home present for her Mr. J who she knows will be coming home anyday.

The only problem with her plan is Huntress, Gotham's newest caped crusader. For the past six months she has been working to foil Harley's schemes. Who is she? What's her connection to Batman? And is she really the savior everyone thinks she is?

The battle for Gotham is about to begin.

forgotham is a different kind of Batman game set in the "Nolanverse" but borrowing from all other Batsources. My hope is that by combining all these elements with a unique plot and placing them in a grittier, less stylized world that it will give the players a new freedom with which to explore their favorite characters.

Welcome To New York's Upper East Side, Where we live and go to school and play and sleep - sometimes with each other. We all live in huge apartments with our own bedrooms and bathrooms and phone lines. We have unlimited access to money and booze and whatever else we want, and our parents are rarely home, so we have tons of privacy. We're smart, we've inherited classic good looks, we wear fantastic clothes, and we know how to party. Our shit still stinks, but you can't smell it because the bathroom is sprayed hourly by the maid with a refreshing scent made exclusively for us by French perfumers.

It's a luxe life, but someone's got to live it.

Phoebe is a prize winning column writer for The Bay Mirror, and has penned several best selling novels on love. Trouble begins brewing right under their noses, unbeknownst to the Halliwell family. A new Source of Evil is rising to power, organizing the once chaotic underworld. This new Source is planning on taking out the Halliwell line to clear the path for a worldly destruction and a takeover of evil. Betrayal is lurking in their midst, and together, Wyatt, Chris, and their cousins will battle this inner threat and the Source along with the help of new allies. In a time of danger, the sisters decide it's time to pass on their Charmed heritage so three new witches in their family are chosen. Though the power of three rests on simply three, the whole of the new generation must band together and work as a team. It’s up to the Halliwell offspring to save the day and take on their parents charge of the Charmed destiny. We're in the midst of heavy plot at the moment, so this is a great time to introduce new characters! We still need Chris and Paige's son, Henry Jr. Ariel Mitchell (One of Paige's twins and part of the new Power of Three) is adoptable, as is Wyatt. Check out the Wanted NPCs to see more. The time.... Present Day. The place... New York City. The grandest city of them all. It's one of those places that everyone knows about; a place where dreams are made and hopes are shattered. More than just a place for writers, artists, poets, actors, business men and women; it is a place where things are lurking in the shadows. A place where beings have always lived amongst the mortals. Beings you and I have heard about but never dreamed were real. That is until one day in the year (2008) it is discovered that creatures we once believed only to exist in stories, television, and movies are REAL. What creatures am I speaking of? Vampires and Shape Shifters of course. They are the creatures that haunt our dreams or that teenagers pretend to be every day of the week. Yes it's true. They're real, and they walk amongst us. In an effort to track down and secure the location of all such beings[Now known as Homo Sapien Sanguis and Homo Sapien Lupus respectively] they are forced to register with the government. There is an entire division of the government, known as the SBI[Supernatural Bureau of Investigation] that are charged with tracking down, registering, and electronically tagging this beings. Any Vampire or Shapeshifter found to not have such a tag is immediately detained, questioned [sometimes tortured really] and forced to be put on probation. This kind of treatment has caused such beings to force themselves into hiding. The best place to hide? In plain sight of course. Do to the clever thinking of a few powerful and older Vampires as well as Shape Shifters a small island in the heart of New York, known as Roosevelt Island has become a sanctuary for such beings. This small island has it's own police force, political structure and is completely self sufficient from the rest of city. For these reasons SBI Agents have a hard time getting onto the island at all. Venture off the island and your life is in your own hands. That ladies and gentlemen is the choice that lies before you. What choice will you make? Registered? Rogue? Hunter? Vampire? Shape Shifter? iloveny via iloveny_mod We have plenty of PBs available for the taking. We are small now, but most of us are very active and we'd love new people to play with.

I have lines that I'd like filled with my kids! For this girl: a best friend or cousin (male or female), an old ex boyfriend (male), and someone to try to make her forget her most recent boyfriend or someon just to try and make him jealous(male). For my guy: a personal assistant (male or female). He could use some good friends too (maybe other chefs?) who are mid 20s ish or older (male or female).

Other people will offer lines too, we have a small, but semi diverse crowd and we'd love to make it even more so. It's NYC people, anything is fair game (well, within our rules anyway). So check us out, put in a hold, try your character in our storyline community, PM the mods, someone will hook you up with someone you can talk to about lines or offer you some themselves.

For nearly forty years this has never changed. Until now. After having no choice but sell the magazine due its financial difficulties, Polari has ended up as a property of a huge publishing company whose plan is to change the magazine completely. Make it the gay man’s Cosmo and FHM both collided in one. New staff has been hired to ensure that the magazine reaches it potential. The only few rules upon hiring staff so far have been that they have to be young, stylish and gay. OPENS JULY 20TH.

IT WAS TOO LATE

The world has changed drastically from that of what anyone remembers, and it is far worse than anyone could have imagined. Though for a few months the right wing evangelicals swore up and down it was the second coming of their Lord and that they had been warning of this very day for so long. For the FOH (Friends Of Humanity) this was just the outcome of the human race working too slowly to purify the world of it's messed up DNA. For those sane enough to understand what was going on, to really see the truth behind the mess of the world - it was just another day for the world to end. Another day to be a hero...except that day stretched into years.

THE GAME

If you miss comic based X-Men, and enjoy mature (often dark themed) game play, then this game might be exactly what you've been looking for in an X-Men RPG. We're looking for active writers with active imaginations and a willingness to work well with others. Don't think you have to be a mutant, if you have a dark side that has always wanted to rip into the mutant DNA just to see what really makes them tick, maybe you'd be more happy with the Purifiers - who seem to be very happy raiding and slaughtering when they aren't experimenting.

Supernatural things don't exist or do they? Of course they don't but that is due to S.W.O.R.D (Supernatural World Observation and Response Department). They are the best kept government secret. They are deployed by the United States government to tackle terrorists or Supernatural things that ordinary humans can't handle.

In the year 2003, a band of terrorists appear but they aren't simply terrorists. They call themselves the Diabolus. They are a led by a figure no one has ever seen nor heard of. They're planning an attack on the World, taking a city each time. They already taken the city of San Francisco and Seattle and they're slowly making their way to Washington, DC. They killed humans easily and their superhero counterparts. They were a team of evil. After S.W.O.R.D defeated them in Phoenix, the Diabolus disbanded. S.W.O.R.D suffered ten casualties after that battle that lasted for three days. The United States noted January 21st, 2003: Diablo Day.

Now in Washington DC, in the year 2008, peace some what reigned over the world but rumors started to spread a weeks ago. The leader of the Diabolus was still alive and they're coming back with a bang.

It has a history and a family; a job, friends and enemies. It has its own personality. It has habits, and if you would ask anyone associated with it, it has always been around. It is, by all appearances, perfectly normal. Old enemies will be reunited; friends too, perhaps. All that’s certain is that they are the only ones who know for a fact that their present status, contrary to all appearances, is a very new and surprising development.
