Posting Guidelines
There are two forms of role-play on the community- object based and third person. There are different types of format for the two forms which are explained below.
THIRD PERSON BASED RP
Subject: [what the post is about or describing i.e. “The Ambassadors Ball”]
Where: [i.e. “The Embassy”]
Who: [who is making the post, i.e. “The Austrian Ambassador”]
Warnings: [if you have any i.e. “extreme violence” but there is none in this case]
Open to: [who can comment, i.e. “The Aristos” or “all”]
[Followed by an IJ cut, under which the object or text should be hidden]
For an example of this type of format, see this post.
OBJECT BASED RP
Warnings: [if you have any i.e. “underage”]
Open to: [who can comment i.e. “all” or “Aimé’s friends/relatives” or “Mercedes”]
What constitutes an ‘object’?
Letter, diary entry, painting, locket, knife, prisoner sheet, newspaper clipping, etc. it must be relevant to the plot of the game, and it must be something which other characters can respond to. You can use two together, for instance a diary entry and a knife or a letter from Mercedes to Aimé and Aimé’s response in the form of a diary entry.
