Resolutions be damned, you folks have already been busy making 2010 the most scandalous year yet...

ILLICIT KISSES NEW YEARS EVE! It seems TERENCE HIGGS has much more to worry about in the new year than he may have thought! He may have rung in the new year with a midnight kiss from his long-term, live-in girlfriend Romance Writer SILVIYA CAPPER, but earlier in the evening she was found to be entertaining the lips of her leading man ROBERT HILLIARD. After sharing an intimate dance at the Zabini gala, HILLIARD and CAPPER were found in a corner of the ballroom sharing a quick, secret (but not to my feathered friends!) kiss! Has the drama of the love triangle on Confessions bled into real life?! I'd say so!

Auror HYPERION MONTGOMERY seems to have a stressful year in the making! He and fiancee ZAHARA FLUME (heiress of the Honeydukes fortune) have a bun in the oven! As if planning a wedding (after a very flashy public proposal) and helping to run the DMLE (in Department Deputy LAVENDER MCLAGGEN'S absence) weren't enough stress on his plate. Maybe in 2010 we'll see a different side of HYPE, one of the stressed-out variety.

The blood that binds is thick indeed, especially when we're talking old Pure blood, and perhaps the DAVIS line come squarely into conflict for GABRIEL GOMEZ. We have word that TRACEY DAVIS - his nobody paramour - sent Christmas Eve back very much in the embrace of her family wealth and traditions at Davis Manor. Can GABRIEL compare when we're talking about old family money and all the far more appropriate doors TRACEY'S Mother can open for her? Perhaps even more appropriate matches? We all know MRS. DAVIS isn't exactly a fan of anyone who's blood isn't older than dirt.

Where were the wedding bells?! Has new parenthood already gotten to be too much for Ministry Communications Director (and paragon of conservative living) PERCY WEASLEY and fiancee PENELOPE CLEARWATER? These two are supposedly the perfect picture of propriety, but their anticipated December wedding never materialized... Maybe they're too tired with their new daughter, or maybe they just don't care all that much what we all think after all... No. I can't see that being the case. These two wrote the book on how to project the right image, so there must be something more here.

2010 is off to a great start, everyone, potential break ups and break downs as far as the eye can see! Give me more! My resolution? Ruination and riveting romance, of course...

Better than putting the entire crew through another day of sexual harassment seminars, right?

It really is all right, Robert. Maybe the display will come later, it simply grew too hectic. If we are going to put our romance on display, then it will be done in the proper fashion where it can be a good experience for everybody.

I'm looking forward go getting back to work, and I've made arrangements so I can bring her to work with me. Had she been a fussy child, it would have been quite a different matter, I'm sure.

Ha! Right. I'd rather not have to sit through more of those.

So did you two elope, then? I know it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but I can't help being curious. And I have no doubt that should you two decide to put on the display, it will be fantastic.

Has she been around many non-family people yet? It wouldn't be overstepping my bounds to hope I'll get to hold her when you bring her in--when I've got a break from filming and read-throughs and such, of course--would it?

That's what I thought. But yes, please do consider yourself properly chastised.

In the strictest technical term, I suppose we did elope, though in the romantic way we did no such thing. We simply signed the papers to make it legal. Then we can always get the union blessed later when the time is right.

Robert, Olivia's father is a Weasley. Roughly 85% of the Wizarding World is family, making it very difficult to expose her to non-family. But yes, she is used to being around new people, and she truly is the gentlest baby you will ever meet. So please, do stop by during one of your breaks, to say hello.

	I think you might be exaggerating just a tiny little bit there. They're more like 79% of the Wizarding World ;) But that's good to hear, you're truly blessed that she's so agreeable.
