What: George helps Megan set up wards, anything else tba.

George felt like a right git for taking so long to visit Meg and set up wards around her home. She was going to be moving soon! Still, she could use them until she moved out, he supposed... though then she'd have to put up with Seamus, so he wasn't really sure she'd be that much safer.

To make up for his lateness he'd brought her a present; some completed Magma Melties and a nice assortment of candy from Honeydukes. He just had to be careful not to get the two mixed up. Holding his small package up, he knocked on the door. He just hoped she wasn't too angry with him.

Deciding that no intruder was clever enough to retort in such a genuinely George-like manner (and that possibility of presents were definitely worth the risk), Megan pulled open her front door with a giggle and a bright smile.

"Hi Georgie!" She stepped aside so he could come in, eyeing his package. "What've you done that you have to win me over with presents, hm?"

	"Ello, Megs," George grinned, stepping inside and giving the girl a kiss on the cheek. "It's taken me far too long to come here and visit, so I've brought you candy to make up for it," he explained, offering the girl the small package. Megan eyed the package as if weighing the price of taking too long to visit. Was a bag of candy enough to win her forgiveness? Apparently so. She snatched up the parcel with a grin. "You're forgiven. Thanks, George!"

Placing the package on her kitchen table, she nudged a box out of her way. "I suppose you're a bit late for wards, really. I'll be moving in with Seamus pretty soon!" As soon as she was packed, she supposed.

"I suppose so. I'm not sure that means you'll be any safer, though," George admitted with a wrinkle of his nose. He didn't have anything against Seamus, really, he just thought he was a pig. "Just be in a different sort of danger, I suppose."

"It's only temporary though, right?" He asked curiously as he followed her to the kitchen. "Only until you get your magic back."

Megan frowned at George's comment. She knew Seamus could be a bit- well, improper, but she certainly believed him when he said he wouldn't try anything with her. After all, it wasn't the sort of thing that would just go away the next day. Besides, when it came to Seamus Finnigan, Megan was confident she could take care of herself, not that she thought she'd need to.

"I don't think so," she answered, raising a brow at him. "It would be an awful lot of effort for something that's temporary." She would be telling herself it was temporary until the day she died if need be. "He's not a bad guy, George. I wouldn't be going to live with him if he were." Besides, she had enough friends who would be dragging her away kicking and screaming if that were the case.

Megan frowned at the look he gave her, hands coming up to rest on slim hips. "No, I'm not dating him," she answered. "Not that it would have mattered if I were."

She didn't much like the way everyone scolded her for moving in with Seamus. Really, what was she? Six? She was perfectly capable of taking care of herself. "Whether you like the idea or not, it's happening, so I'd get used to the thought, Georgie. Some support would be nice."

"Ah, I'm sorry, Megs," George let out a sigh as he moved closer and pressed a kiss to her cheek. "I support you in whatever you choose to do, you know that. I just worry is all. It's a terrible habit I think I picked up from my mother." He frowned at that thought.

"Just let me know if you ever need him smacked around a little. I'm still your chaperone slash bodyguard, after all."
