It was not mentioned anywhere in the spell that summoning a familiar for oneself would mean such issues in getting out of bed in the morning.

She may have to become a bat again or I will never make it to school on time.

ESSEK this is QUALITY CONTENT!!!!! :)))))))))))))))))) I love her, give her a scratch on the head and tell her it's from me, she'll know what it means. :)

I passed on the scratch and the message and she chirped a bit in response. I am assuming you know what that means in return?

It's usually good when it comes to Malla, so that is a safe assumption. But I have yet to have a student drop my class or ask for a different instructor, so I would say that is so far, so good for this year.

Yeah!! Good job, buddy!!! :))))))))))))))) Sorry, sometimes my enthusiasm and optimism are a LOT but I think you should be proud of yourself for being a good teacher!

Mmmhmm. I see how you stretch.

Now that you mention it, you are not at all wrong. We both seem to have a need to stretch with great purpose.

Getting to school on time is fucking overrated anyway.

Unfortunately punctuality is a little more required when you're the one teaching the class.

Fair. Still. Don't you get like a fifteen minutes cushion before everybody's allowed to bail on your ass?

Potentially, though I am going to just tell myself that my classes are interesting enough that even my most impatient of students would wait around for me.

If you're not on time that means we can also sleep in, right?

That seems quite fair to me, but I have a feeling it's not the case. I suppose I will just have to learn how to become slightly more immune to Malla's ways so we won't have to test our theory.

Truthfully, I don't look much different either. I am a bit more sprightly on the mornings that I trance, but I've been sleeping more as of recent and it is slow going sometimes.

I'm still terribly proud of your ring, if I do say so myself--and, obviously, I do, but it will be one of my deepest regrets that it wasn't an eye patch. Sigh. Someday.

Though I have no doubt that it would have been the most fetching of eye patches, I still think we might have gone the right route with the ring. Next time, perhaps.

Why would you ever make her anything but a cat?

(Reply to this) (Thread)

[info]shadowhand

Her original form when I first summoned her was a bat, though I had to resummon her a while later because of the island causing some hiccups with magic. When I did that, though, I made her a cat. She misses being able to fly, but she also finds it easier to interact with my partner's familiar in this form so -- a cat she will remain, for now.
