The welcome set had been something Klaus came up with entirely on the fly but as he moved around the Apothecary choosing items for it, he decided the idea was genius. There were even options. Were you dead before you got here? How about a rejuvenating face scrub? And every set needed bath supplies for a long, relaxing soak as you attempted to come to terms with the sudden change of locale and probably universes. Klaus really hadn't paid too much attention during orientation once they told him they were giving him a thousand dollars to start him off.
Maybe it should have been unsettling how quickly Vallo had become home, but home back home had been destroyed by the moon, so he wasn't going to complain. Instead he surprisingly was managing to hold down a job while staying sober. Vallo didn't seem so bad after all when he thought about it that way. Most of his family was here, even. What was there to complain about?
So instead he found himself welcoming strangers to this strange world, making sure they had an idea of what to expect. (But had anyone previously thought to expect killer bunnies, really?) And one of those people he'd welcomed had just entered the store.
"Chloe!" he beamed, recognizing her from the network. "Welcome to Vallo, but more importantly, welcome to the Apothecary."
