The ball was an absolute success, and I am so glad that everyone who attended had a wonderful time. I had missed being able to host parties like that, and it was great getting to see everyone enjoying themselves. I am especially thankful to Caroline and Genya in helping me out, as well as to everyone else who offered assistance.

I do hope that I'm able to host another party in the future.

Also, I have a bountiful amount of leftovers, if anyone wants some.

And in more happy news, the mice arrived to me this morning. They were disappointed to have missed the party, but I am happy to have them here with me.

Been a while since I've seen a reminder tossed up and we seem to have had quite a few new people so friendly reminder that the training grounds have quite a few different classes being offered.

Um. So apparently an entire island from my home showed up. Mako Island. I'd be careful going out there. Back home, it was popular with sharks. Which isn't a big deal, but you know. I don't mind people going around the island, but I'm going to say ask that the Moon Pool be off limits unless I'm there, please. If you see a rope going into a sort of hole, don't go down there. Please.

I might actually need help moving some rocks outside of the underwater tunnel, though. Please.

The Playground showed up today. And now, it's not an actual playground, that's just the name for it. It's really a SHIELD facility that I was living in for awhile. back in my world. I also had it when I was in Tumbleweed, and that's the version that showed out here. My friend Flash and I made it less barracks and more of an actual place to live. The labs, hangars, and monitor rooms are still there, but the rooms are actual bedrooms and not bunks, we've got a really cool home theater system, and an arcade. I'm pretty proud of all of the work we put into, actually.

So this place is huge, and we've got plenty of rooms. If you want out of the apartments, you're both more than welcome to have a room. Plus, there's a lot more space here than the apartments.

What's uh, a good start for an assassin who spent a couple of decades in the apocalypse?

DOA DEFENSE DEPARTMENT.
The defense department is growing, which is great, but with that, I need to set up some more organization for my own sanity.

So I want to select coordinators for each team. This isn't a hierarchy addition for new leadership that everyone on the team is going to have to start following orders from. I'm looking for a person on each team who is willing to do things like check-in with me after patrol, call in anything we need to know, arrive a few minutes early to pick up comm-links, stay a bit later to make sure they're all returned, keep track of their team members during patrols or during an attack, or to be the person your team calls into if they can't make it for patrol.

Each team can pick their own, or I'll just select one if you'd prefer. How ever you all want to decide is fine with me.

Team D, I can just do it for us if you'd prefer.

I'm also looking for a person who might be interested in taking on a position as our eye-in-the-sky through tech during attacks. The last few times we had to deal with issues I've stayed back to keep an eye on things and make sure nothing was missed. I really want to punch things again, so if anyone has any suggestions for someone who might be interested in that gig, please give me some names. It will only be for when it's all hands on deck so they wouldn't have to leave their day job. They'll have Gideon, the AI from my ship, to work with if they want.
