You gonna look for a place in town, or do you wanna keep it over at that "cottage" of yours?

Yeah, well, Xi said something about me being his Senior Disciple and then said that I'd be passing on the Lan traditions or whatever ~~if I stick around~~ so I thought maybe I oughta, you know, do something more than load up movies at some ancient movie theatre or sling drinks or whatever.

	You DO know the city better than I do.... I imagine he's the expert on what constitutes Lan material, Yue. It's okay to smile and say thank you when people say nice things about you. I guess so. I guess I just ain't really use to the whole... ~~compliment thing~~ ~~people trusting me thi~~ ~~being reliable t~~ all of it. It's fucking weird, man.

Maybe you gotta have one of them golden core things and the ability to float and be grace incarnate or whatever.

Absolutely. We could go to a fancy restaurant and look like Trouble. I do like to subvert expectations.

I know the feeling. When Niko got me out of the cells it took ages to really believe people weren't just making fun of me, and I was actually worth something. It goes away eventually. Mostly.

How does he float, anyway? I'm afraid to ask in case he says everyone can do it and I'm just not trying hard enough, or something.
