Hey Billy! Have you maybe got time this week to do a little bit of magic for the advancement of roleplaying?

See, El and I made this map and some cool miniatures, and we're pretty much finished with this stage of it, and it's looking really good, so we wanted to see if you could help us make it look even better. Like, more realistic textures and stuff, maybe help us set it up so the pieces can move on player command or something. Could you do something like that? And if you can, would you?

	Hey guys! Yeah, totally, that sounds awesome! I can bring pizza? We can eat after to avoid the grease on the map and figs, obviously. I want to hear what you have planned too! I've been toying with a sky pirate steampunky module, but then I'm like does that mean everyone has to fly? Or is it just like hey if your char falls off that's the risk you take as a pirate? Dungeons and Dirigibles! That sounds cool AF. I'd say compromise and give everybody parachute backpacks when they're on your airship. If somebody's all like "no way, I'm a rebel who doesn't play by the rules, I'm not wearing your safety bullshit" and falls to their death at that point, that's on them. Or have it be, like, traditional to airship crews that if you're working on deck in a storm you've got a line/harness attached to the railing?

As for our campaign, right now we've got a lot more map than we have campaign details. I've sketched out the basics, but I'm still using placeholders for a lot of stuff while I fill the rest in. It's traditional medieval-ish for sure, though, because I'm thinking I want to try out the local rules set and I don't want to overcomplicate things while I'm learning to DM something new.

That might work! If I want a crew that survives. But now I'm thinking about a mini-campaign where everyone is a mutinous pirate out for themselves--or at least a few people. I played in a one-shot where we were all given a secret in relation to someone else and chaos ensued. I'll think on it more, because a part of me wants it to make sense even though I also love a rule of cool.

	Oh yeah, bring Teddy for sure! We've worked so hard on this thing, I want it to look really amazing when I finally get to actually run a campaign with it. It's the most detailed map I've ever done.
