[Text to Eloise]
My Very Helpful Friend,
I hope you do not think ill of me for this Message, both for presuming to send it at all, and for the sending of it electronically. I had thought of writing a Letter proper, but I had thought I might spare you the Inconvenience of responding and delivering in kind. If I have misstepped in either instance, please do not hesitate to rebuke me and I will make the necessary Corrections.
I have recently procured two tickets to the Symphony, free of cost, which is to be held on the 21 Septr. I had hoped that you might accompany me, so that I may thank you properly for the Indispensible help you provided me when I was quite disorientated and overwhelmed. If you wish for me to acquire a ticket for a Chaperone, I would be quite willing and able to do so. If I've missed the mark entirely then please do let me know, and I hope you will not think too poorly of me for it.
Your Obedient Servent,
Wm. Laurence
