This month's coven meeting takes place a few weeks before the fall equinox. As days grow shorter and the air begins to chill, Max and Bonnie would like to use this meeting to remind everyone about the importance of practicing mental blocks in your magic. The time of year around Samhain is a great opportunity for excellent shadow work, but it can also leave you more open to undue influence from malevolent forces and spirits. In this meeting, Max and Bonnie will go over several methods of mental self-defense, from methods of closing communication with spirits to more elaborate rituals to assist with strengthening the mind's defenses against intruders. Bonnie in particular will be teaching a segment on blocks against compulsion and psychic attacks; Max will focus on dispelling existing mental blocks. They will also encourage Outlander coven members to speak about their own experiences with mental blocks so everyone can learn from one another.

At the end of lesson, representatives from the Saferra Coven (NPC'd by Sara) and representatives from the Ankou coven (NPC'd by Grimsbanes) will each speak about their coven history, their methodology, and their primary magical interests. Both covens will be mingling with Outlander members and will be excited to answer any questions you might have. After a long period of semi-exclusivity, Saferra is reopening its membership under new leadership, and Ankou is eager to speak with fellow shifters.
