Well this was an interesting night. While Regulus was cooking dinner I was playing with the girls at the table when all of a sudden I heard this...only word I can think of to describe is crackling noise coming from the stove. Normally I stay as far away from it as possible for everyone's sake but that worried me so I went over to see what happened and found that one of the burners had popped a hole in itself. I immediately turned all of the burners off, moved the pots and pans off it, bundled him and the girls into the car to go to dinner and then to buy a new stove. They're supposed to deliver and install it tomorrow while I'm at work. And I already told the clerk at the store - I don't care what they do with the old one so long as they remove it from the property.

	Probably a smart plan. I wish I'd thought to do that with ours. I took everything else into consideration with regards to safety here. That is true. It will make my part of things easier. He cooks, I clean. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	It can't be as bad as my dad is with cooking. It honestly is. I don't mind the prep work, love the process of it all. I hate trying to get the resulting gunk off my pans. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I have been very much banned from using any appliance but our microwave for reheating leftovers and the coffee machine. I can use the stove only to heat the tea kettle. (Reply to this) (Parent)
