Started EMT training earlier this month. It's funny, all my life the last thing I really wanted to do was anything medical related; my dad was a doctor, but recently I'd started thinking about it and while I don't want to be a doctor, I want to be able to help people so I thought being an EMT would be a good alternative. I don't know if it's the random invasions that happen here or if it has anything to do with my Hunter abilities, but here I am. Hopefully I'll pass all my classes.

EMT is easy and short training. If you got in, then you'll do fine. Are you going to go for your Paramedic after that?

I highly recommend it. EMTs are just the drivers. If you want action, you definitely want to be a Paramedic.

It won't affect it. I made sure the courses would work around my time at the gallery. Once I finish the courses though, I don't know.

EMTS are just as important and valued as Doctors. First on the scene, all the information they gather saves time for those in the ER who can instantly treat the person.

I can help with that, when I was in school and had to learn things. I simply associate an image with each term, which will act as a cue when trying to recall the word.

I had flashcards, but there are apps now.

You can memorize a group of similar or related words by creating acronyms.

Took me a while, too. You'll find out pretty quickly if it isn't the right fit.

It isn't always an easy job, but I wouldn't want to do anything else.

I guess for a while I just didn't want to be like my dad. I mean, there was nothing wrong with him or anything; he was one of the best men I've ever known, but I wanted to do my own thing. Only problem was, my own thing at the time was getting high and skipping school.
