I didn't think becoming an EMT was gonna be the easy way out of making something of myself, I mean... I know I crashed out of college really hard, but there was a lot going on. That's not ALL on me, right?

Still, the online preparation courses start tomorrow and wow, this is gonna be really intensive. I'm kinda looking forward to it but also pretty terrified right now. Just gotta keep reminding myself that I don't have to be the idiot hanging from a tree while everyone else does something useful.

Hey guys, uh... do you by any chance have any spare room? Or maybe we could look into getting something bigger if we all pool together, I have like zero places to live right now but I did get a job? Would you like a roomie or are you two happy by yourselves?

Then you have to do the scariest and hardest thing of all - figure out how to rely on each other instead of it being all on one person.

I had to learn how to do it. It's not easy but - it makes it easier to live here. Or it did for me.

It does kind of feel like Orange County gave me some gifts but the trade off for that is that it likes to kick me between the legs sometimes.

She's got a Golden Retriever named Artemis! And she's a good dog, yes she is.

Is Pan another pet of yours?

All dogs are good dogs.

Pan is our cat. Well...my cat since I had him when we met but he loves Eren and Zelda. We also have a bunny named Flopsy and I'm trying to convince Eren that we should get a second bunny and name them George.

Oh no... all of that is too adorable. A bunny named Flopsy!? Now I want a pet of my own. But I'm thinking my current living situation and schedule are reaally not gonna jive with anything that needs much attention.

I guess that's 'fish territory'.

Well...cats are pretty independent too generally. Pan is good being left on his own a lot of the time but when we're home he likes to be close.

If your landlord won't let you have pets than yeah that's definitely fish territory.
