If people want to walk into my lab making absurd claims, they better be able to provide me with peer reviewed scholarly sources when challenged or be prepared to do actual research and then write me an essay on why they're wrong.

Bloody hell. I even tried to given them a way out by offering that they may be conflating issues. But no.

	Well! Apparently the reason England chose a path of Appeasement was because "antifascism was seen as just as bad, if not worse, than fascism." Exactly. I even asked if they were conflating the fact that yes, when a fascist government takes control they will attack the press and make it so that any form of dissent is seen as a threat to get the society to not fight back. But no. Apparently I was wrong and there was no 'verifiable proof' about history of appeasement working in the past, public opinion polls at the time, the statistics for the economy or the like.

First it was how the policy of Appeasement was because there was a 'belief that antifascism is as bad if not worse than actual fascism', followed by claiming that there's not proof that it was because of a history of appeasement working before, concerns on military numbers and economy and public opinions, along with conflating Stalinism with antifascism, conveniently ignoring the German-Soviet Nonaggression Pact.

	That seems to be a common trait at times with men. They are highly intelligent in their professional life, but lack complete common sense, and then some, in everything else.
