I think I've seen a few posts about vampires, here. Or by vampires.

	Not a vampire, but my best friend here was for awhile. We didn't talk about it much though, so I'm probably a lousy source of advice. Vampires are a little...different in my dreams. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Dreams made me a vampire. In the dreams, I was turned in 1864. In order to turn, you have to drink the blood of a vampire, then die within 24 hours. I drank blood, then was shot. When I woke up, I was starving, and my brother brought me my first victim to complete the transition. After quite a few dreams, I woke up one morning in full transition. 	I can. In the dreams, I have a ring that was charmed by a witch. I woke up with the ring on my nightstand. That's how I knew it was coming. As long as the ring is on, my days are pretty normal. (Reply to this) (Parent)

The creatures I've dreamed of call themselves vampires, but they were so wantonly cruel. They left a path of destruction in their wake, ruining everything they touched and laughing as they did it.

From what little I've read, the vampires here aren't like that. Maybe if they were they wouldn't admit to it, but I'm grasping for any kind of hope I can get right now.

	In my dreams, I am also cruel. I was not a good man before becoming a vampire, either. I would say that we here are fortunate that we have learned humanity before our affliction has taken over. 	I find that lately I have someone who encourages my human side. Without that I would be, perhaps, more monster than man. In a way I was turned. In my first set of dreams, I practiced dark things and so instead of death I became a vampire. I have yet to see how it will happen in my new set. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
