Back from my first flight! Very successful, no needing to jump into the pilot's seat or anything! Some turbulence here and there, but nothing terrible! Let me tell you though, it was a long weekend! Hopping between aircraft and then staying in a new hotel every night...it was something! But I think I'll enjoy it.

Seems like I've been missing a lot here, but not in a good way. To all my law enforcement friends, please be careful out there! There's got to be something in the water, yeah? I don't feel safe going outside anymore...it feels like the snow, but in a completely different way!

Things are alright between John and I. You were right, we just needed to talk in person. Thanks again for all the insight you gave! It made me realize that you and I still need to meet in person! Would you like to come over for dinner sometime? I'll send an invite to Troy too!

Yeah I talked to another friend and he said there didn't look like an end in sight :/ I hope this isn't like the holidays where this lasts for a month!!

At least it's your profession so you've been trained, but I still worry!! And I won't. My flat mate was walking home at night by himself. >.< Thankfully he isn't anymore but I really had to badger him!

My friend is going to teach me self defense too! I'm excited for it...right now I just have a small can of pepper spray to keep me safe!

	I'm not putting money on it stopping anytime soon. Which sucks. He better not do that again. I'll knock some sense into him if he thinks about it. It's better than nothing. Just try to keep yourself safe. Self-defense is good, but keeping yourself out of a situation where you'd need it is better. If you ever think you're in any danger, just call me, okay? 	Someone just needs to point me to the complaints department of the universe. I'll give them a piece of my mind. I take this stuff really seriously. So you can pass that on to him too.
