I forgot how the whole 'drinking and breaking bars' thing can be therapeutic. Especially when the place is owned by someone you used to know and they feed you some bullcrap info to piss you off. Then they're surprised when I break their things ~~and face~~. Arrest me, world, I don't care right now.

Man, people are making me testy lately. I feel better, since we're in a motel with actual running hot water and my Chinese food is floating in the tub.

No, seriously, the stuff floats and I'm multi-tasking.

Look, if you want the gritty details of it all, then I'll just tell you. It's not that I intentionally kept the whole thing from you. Chicago's just one incident. A little bit more exciting than the rest, but showing my face around old parts is riling up some old contacts and some bad memories. Everything we've found is a dead end. We've been shot at a few times. Nothing we couldn't handle, but the only good thing about this trip was finding Henry and seeing Neal get all fatherly about it.
