I was sad to hear about Bob Hoskins this morning. Who Framed Roger Rabbit has always been one of my favorite movies. It was one of the movies I used to watch over and over again when I was younger. Even now, I could put it on and know almost all the lines. In fact, I think I may watch it this weekend.

A good man, and a fantastic actor. He'll be sorely missed.

After I lost my hand, I watched Hook on a laugh and thought he was great. Watched most of his other movies after that.

Did you know he got paid twenty thousand dollars for not being in The Untouchables? He was offered the role as a back up, and they ended up going with DeNiro instead, but they wrote him a cheque to say thank you for considering it anyway.

It is so sad. I love Who Framed Roger Rabbit too. And Hook. Maybe a movie marathon might be in order this weekend.
