Hypothetically speaking, how much is too much of an age difference, for a relationship? I've been having some pangs of morality lately, and I wanted the opinion of you fine folk to put my troubled mind at rest.

Someone could just as easily make the argument that I'm only interested in you because of my own daddy issues, because of your brilliance or your wealth.

Erik, I love you because you make me smile. I haven't had a reason to smile on a daily basis since ... before I can remember.

And I love you. I truly do. And that terrifies me, but you are worth it, Gazlene.

You're the most wonderful thing that has happened in my life and I'm so scared you'll wake up one day and realize you've made some sort of mistake. But no matter what, I will love you with all of my heart and soul.

Please don't take my pangs of conscience to mean I don't want you. I only worry about you, that's all.

	Which reminds me, my dear. I've put that lovely lock of hair you gave me in a locket, which is attached now to my watch chain. The drawing you sent is framed and on my writing desk, where I can look at it every day. That way I'm always thinking of you. Not that I wasn't already, but now I have a physical reminder.
