Hypothetically speaking, how much is too much of an age difference, for a relationship? I've been having some pangs of morality lately, and I wanted the opinion of you fine folk to put my troubled mind at rest.

We both enjoy art and music. She's a painter, I'm a composer. We make art for each other, it's quite -- domestic, really. I've never met anyone whose mindset is as close to mine as her is.

And she is, I wouldn't dream of it otherwise.

Perhaps I'm not quite as terrible as I thought I was, then.

That sounds lovely, actually. Percy - the handsome redhead in the comment above - and I live together. I'm a doctor, he's a lawyer. I've never met anyone who likes to just sit and read while drinking tea. It ... works.

It sounds like you're lucky enough to have found someone who works with you too.

We do work surprisingly well together. I say surprisingly because I never expected anyone at all to work well with me.

I'm glad you've found someone who suits you, as well.

It's a revelation, isn't it.

I'm James Wilson - it's good to meet you.

Erik Garnier, a pleasure to meet you as well.

And thank you very much for your words of advice. A friend pointed out how old I am, not too long ago, and I spun into a bit of a panic.

So long as your lady knows and doesn't mind, that's what counts.

Oh, no, I've been truthful about that since the beginning. I realize it's hard to tell my true age, with my handsome visage, but I didn't want to lie to her about that.

That isn't what I meant. But thank you.
