Things had been refreshingly calm lately, though Gabriel still said the rituals every night to watch over absent family members. He'd done his best at the hospital, and enjoyed the time he had with Lilo. However, things had been kind of calm.

He was calling Lilo right now, hoping she was home to pick up. A coworker of his was in a bind, and he thought he might just be able to help.

	Gabe knew it, and he just smiled fondly at her. They'd definitely have to talk about it. He could get used to this. He looked up at the clock, though, and blinked - Maria's father would be here in an hour. Had it gone so fast? He looked over at the little girl. "Maria, are you getting tired? It's kind of late.
