As usual, Dar wasn't sure where she was. As usual, she was perfectly happy with that, and wandered around exploring and taking in the sights. She'd ended up near some sort of school, which had given her an interesting idea for something she could work on later. For now, however, she was just meandering and enjoying the sunlight. It was a nice day, and she tilted her face up to the sky, breathing it in.

Dar nodded. "It was the same where I came from. Not necessarily death, all mages were imprisoned in Circles and never allowed to leave. Sometimes they were killed. Or made Tranquil, which was worse." She balanced her hands on her head. "I was part of a group of apostate mages who helped each other out. It's strange not to need to, anymore. Good," she added hastily. "But strange. I don't really know what to do with myself here, without that."
