As usual, Dar wasn't sure where she was. As usual, she was perfectly happy with that, and wandered around exploring and taking in the sights. She'd ended up near some sort of school, which had given her an interesting idea for something she could work on later. For now, however, she was just meandering and enjoying the sunlight. It was a nice day, and she tilted her face up to the sky, breathing it in.

Merlin was walking to Nimue's apartment from school. He liked walking everywhere and thought that, aside from international travel, portkeys were overrated. He left school grounds, thinking about classes and his homework when he saw a very familiar face. Part of him hoped that this was one of those crazy things with this world and it was someone else, not Freya, not his first kiss, standing in front of him, because if it was her, Nimue might go a little crazy.

"Uh, Freya? Is that you?" If it was her he couldn't let her just wonder about.

	"Hm?" Dar wasn't expecting to be approached, so it took a second to realize someone was talking to her. He looked nice enough, whoever he was, though he was giving her a very confused look. Dar nodded. "It was the same where I came from. Not necessarily death, all mages were imprisoned in Circles and never allowed to leave. Sometimes they were killed. Or made Tranquil, which was worse." She balanced her hands on her head. "I was part of a group of apostate mages who helped each other out. It's strange not to need to, anymore. Good," she added hastily. "But strange. I don't really know what to do with myself here, without that."
