What: Ennis is female. Jack tries to comfort without laughing.
When: Backdated to the night Ennis turned girly
Warnings: Lady-swearing, likely sex, later on

Jack was slightly worried, about Ennis' new... transformation. Not about his being a woman- Jack had no problem with the beautiful person he'd become. But Ennis seemed mortified, and that was never good for Jack's well-being. Still, the man-now-woman had relented to let him go see... her, and Jack was going to do his best to make this easier on... her.

Making his way into the ranchhouse and up the stairs, he knocked on the door. "Ennis? You alright?"

	Jack sighed, arms immediately wrapping around her body to hold her close, face resting against her wet hair. "Hey, now. S'alright... still jus' you an' me, Ennis, m'here... jus' relax, alright?" A beat, as he considered how to put this, "Did I hurt'ya?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Another exhalation, and he leaned down enough to press his lips to her temple- a show of affection, nothing more. He wished he knew what was wrong, but he had a hard time dissecting Ennis, and even a harder time understanding women. This, unfortunately, was likely to be hopeless. 	Jack just held her, until the water started to cool and he had to shut it off, only pulling one arm away enough to do so. He reached out to grab a towel, draping it over Ennis' back as an excuse to rub at it, trying to calm her, some. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	He let her have that one, stepping away just enough to grab himself a towel, drying out his own hair. Without a word, he stepped out of the shower, heading to the bed, knowing Ennis would follow. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Jack figured talking was out of the realm of possibility, but he slid under the covers on his back, watching her for a second before looking at the ceiling. Ennis was welcome to get closer, was the clear message- but Jack wouldn't push and get hurt for his effort. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Jack shifted into the touch, waking just enough to smile at the realization. He didn't want to spook Ennis, thinking her still asleep, so he said nothing, settling back in to go back to sleep. (Reply to this) (Parent)
