Who: Iku and Ariel
What: They've found a place, now is the reckoning! AKA, packing up Iku's place, lunch, possible distractions.
Where: London, England
When: Weekend-ish
Warnings: Possible!

Looking over the stack of flat boxes at the door, Ikuko was daunted. Half of this stuff wasn't even anything she had personally gotten for her place, but it was all so nice! If she only packed up what she'd bought, and not what she had inherited when she dropped into this world, she'd still have a great deal of books, clothes, kitchen appliances, and wall decorations to bring to Paris. She sighed heavily. Ariel would bring some levity into the situation when he arrived, she figured. Not to seem unmotivated, she did pack up a couple of boxes of books, and had gone through papers to see which she wanted to keep and which could be recycled. It was the papers that started her in on feeling overwhelmed, though. So many of them were important! But all the mess!

She flopped down on the couch and ran her hands delicately over the long fibers of the rug beneath the sofa and coffee table. This was just so much work!

"I'm only planning to keep what I bought," she assured, "but if you feel the need to lighten your own load of things, I cannot stop you. I like what you've got, you know that." It suited him, and her tastes. What she had in way of furniture for the most part seemed just too modern looking to be in such a pretty, historic flat like the one they'd found. "Ah, I believe you should keep your furniture, so long as I can decorate the walls. It will be home for both of us that way."
