She wasn't quite sure why this guy she barely knew was bringing her food, but she supposed she didn't mind him coming over. If he wanted to help, who was she to turn it down. Besides, it wasn't like anyone else was offering to bring her food. Not even her kids. She was doing paperwork, and waiting when she heard the door and went to go get it.

Opening it up, Lisa gave the guy a look over. He was young. And cute. Great. Just what she needed. She just didn't know if she was being sarcastic with herself or not.

	Slevin was sure the DVDs would help explain, so he didn't comment. Once they'd gotten back to Cuddy's house, he wentto what he assumed was the living room and sat down, removing his jacket. "So. Yeah." He shifted in his seat, chuckling. "If anything, I hope it's entertaining?" He wondered how it would show his family dying. He hoped it didn't at all. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

She slid out of her own jacket and took off her shoes. "Want anything before we.. start? Though I guess.. really.. eating is probably a bad idea since .. it's your life.." even if it was a movie.

Putting the dvd into the player, she grabbed the remote and sat down next to him, putting it on. "I'm sure it'll be.. entertaining. Most movies are.. even if they're.. over the top sometimes."

As much as she was trying to distance herself from the whole thing, it was more like watching a documentary then a movie. And when he closed his eyes, she reached over and took his hand and gave it a squeeze. There wasn't much you could say or do when this sort of thing happened, but she could do that. What happened to him was horrible. She winced through the whole thing.

Made sense. She kind of wished she could tell him he could go.. do something else but she wasn't quite sure what. She nodded a bit and then shut up as the rest of the movie played out. Well. At least he had a reason for killing the people. And the girl was cute, she supposed. Looked like someone else she saw. Stupid Hollywood. And he was ... half naked through most of it. She seemed quite amused at those parts.

	The conclusion seemed to be approaching with everything that was going on. It was kind of a mystery, and by the end she was pretty fascinated and wanted to see what was going to happen. 	Slevin nodded. "I don't... I'm as good at it as Goodkat is, but I don't want to do it. Ever again." He had the aptitude, but not the stomach for it. He'd really not enjoyed the process of killing them, just the knowledge that his family, his lost childhood, and the lives of everyone they'd ever fucked over had been avenged. She nodded a bit, "I believe you.. and this place is a good chance to start over. Everyone kind of.. gets one I guess by being here. Especially where no one really knows you."

For a moment she was quiet, and then figured it was a good thing to tell him before Mia or Jon got home, "Their.. father... was.. or well is I suppose.. Clark Kent.." she figured wherever he came from had Superman. Everyone had Superman right? Most places anyways. "Just not.. either of the ones that are.. here.. now."

"I was going to get my chance to start over after those two were gone. But this is more official." He was rather glad that the vortex had picked him up, to be honest - it was almost like the universe was confirming that his life was his, now.

"... you really are amazing." Slevin chuckled at her having kids with Superman, but then wondered how any man could ever live up to Superman ever again. He wondered how lonely her life was, being a single mother, pining for her lost husband - and it must be worse when there were "versions" of him around that weren't him. "I'm sorry he's not here, though. I truly am. Losing a loved one is the hardest thing anyone can live through."
