Daniel's social skills were a bit lacking, given that he hadn't really been around people much. He was adjusting to his new life, but he tended to keep to himself. He wasn't even sure why he'd posted a message on the boards, but it had gotten a response which led to an invitation to meet and walk with a beautiful woman.

Not just any one, she was Hedone. Goddess of Pleasure. Daniel changed his clothes to something a bit more proper, before heading to meet Hedone at Hyde Park. He carried with him a copy of Heart Of Darkness to give her, because they had spoken briefly about the book. He kept it in a small bag, which he carried on his arm.

Arriving at the entrance to the park, Daniel spotted Hedone and trotted over to her. "Good evening, my lady."

"I just don't know where to start." He smiled softly and sniffed the flower. "My mother lived for nearly two years, pregnant with me, in the Dreaming. The Dream King claimed me as his child, and I was called on to take over as Lord Of Dreams when I was but a toddler. I grew in an instant, so that I would be able to assume my father's place. But now I am here, and Father is here, and he is once more King of Dreams." He frowned, not quite sure that was what she wanted to know.

	She gaped at him as he told his story. As someone who had spent a good thousand years as a child, Hedone felt very passionately about those experiences. "Oh my. Daniel took a step, and spun around on his heels, a look of pure childlike wonder on his face as he drank in the scenery. It was cold, his arms pressed in closer to his body, but he barely noticed the chill, or the snow. He was enthralled by the Falls, completely captivated.

After a moment, he came back to himself, blinked, and looked at Hedone. "It's beautiful."

	His captivation enthralled her. The pleasure he drew just from being there filled her too and she sighed. It was a high just to be next to him. She simply watched him watch the falls until he finally spoke. "I know." She replied and moved forward to rub her hands up and down on his chilly arms. "Would you like to explore?"
