Darius was standing on Ophelia's porch again. He found himself there quite a bit. But this time he wasn't nervous. He was actually quite bouncy. Not in the literal sense, though he did have to be careful to avoid that. It was really neat to be rubbery. He was beginning to understand Reed RIchards a lot better, though he lacked that range of agility.

Which was okay with him. The stuff he could do outweighed what he couldn't by a long shot. He peered in the window, to see if Ophelia was on the way, eager to see his niece and nephew, and to spend the day with his kind of sort of maybe girlfriend.

	Darius extended his arms well beyond their normal reach, just in case she did fall. He smiled when she caught herself, and offered his hand, moving closer to her so he wouldn't have to stretch. "Yeah. Thank goodness for that, at least." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	He nodded. "Yeah. I got accepted her, among other places, and I got a good scholarship there." He shrugged, squeezing her hand. "I haven't decided yet. But I think I'm going to get an apartment here over the summer." He started off toward the main street, meaning to hail a taxi to take them to the compound. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	He nodded, his arm wrapped securely around her waist. "Yeah. Other than the fact that everytime I stay away from Mom's house something gets blown up or I get captured, I'm a little nervous about how well I'll do living alone. 	He hadn't called her that before...well, not really. Ophelia snuggled him back and kissed him softly. "And you were worried for me..." she murmurs. 	He gave her a wide smile, as though the moment of seriousness hadn't happened. "Me either. Here we are." Darius gestured at what had once been a hotel. He counted on his fingers. "Four adults full time. Two babies full time. Two adults part time, and a bunch more sporadically. Most of it's full of computers and weapons."

He slid his glasses off, putting his eye level with a box on the gate, which required a little bit of bending. After a minute, the door greeted him by name and he offered his arm to Ophelia. "Biometric locks. They wanted to do blood samples for a bit, but Lorna threatened to turn the gates into 'Modern Art' if she had to prick her finger everytime she went in and out." He shrugged.

	She smiles at him. "That's a lot of people." It actually sounds like Elsinor, with many members of the household, going away and coming back. They got into the house, and Darius led Ophelia past the huge living room (formerly the lobby), which was scattered with magazines, books, computer parts, and various other signs of life. There was a woman with bright green hair on the couch, and she poked her head up, waving at Ophelia and Darius. "Hi there! Kids are upstairs in the nursery of doom. I wouldn't wake them up if I were you."

Darius laughed. "Thanks for the advice. That's on the third floor, so up we go." He steered Ophelia away from the evil influence that was his aunt, and toward the elevator.

	Ophelia waved at the woman, grinning and eyeing the green hair with fascination. It was actually quite pretty on the right person, which she evidently was. She heads to the elevator with Darius. "Silly, you should have introduced me." She smiles and kisses him. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
