Darius was standing on Ophelia's porch again. He found himself there quite a bit. But this time he wasn't nervous. He was actually quite bouncy. Not in the literal sense, though he did have to be careful to avoid that. It was really neat to be rubbery. He was beginning to understand Reed RIchards a lot better, though he lacked that range of agility.

Which was okay with him. The stuff he could do outweighed what he couldn't by a long shot. He peered in the window, to see if Ophelia was on the way, eager to see his niece and nephew, and to spend the day with his kind of sort of maybe girlfriend.

They got into the house, and Darius led Ophelia past the huge living room (formerly the lobby), which was scattered with magazines, books, computer parts, and various other signs of life. There was a woman with bright green hair on the couch, and she poked her head up, waving at Ophelia and Darius. "Hi there! Kids are upstairs in the nursery of doom. I wouldn't wake them up if I were you."

Darius laughed. "Thanks for the advice. That's on the third floor, so up we go." He steered Ophelia away from the evil influence that was his aunt, and toward the elevator.

	Ophelia waved at the woman, grinning and eyeing the green hair with fascination. It was actually quite pretty on the right person, which she evidently was. She heads to the elevator with Darius. "Silly, you should have introduced me." She smiles and kisses him. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	He beamed and they went down the hall together, quieter now. He was excited, and it showed in his every motion. Sometimes he was a very bad poker player. The room was quiet and warm, and held two cribs. The sound of breathing was the only sound in the room, and Darius stopped in the door way, afraid to wake them. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

He nodded, laughing softly. He moved quietly into the room, peering at the cribs. One contained a very small baby, dressed in a blue pajama suit. He was tiny, but very pink. Darius grinned goofily, and peered at the other crib. This one contained a very large baby, whose skin was white as paper, except for the barest blush on her cheeks. She was dressed in a pink pajama suit, and curled up in a very cute way.

"Awww." His voice was very quiet.

	"They're so beautiful," Ophelia murmured. She just wanted to hold them. But she would wait...until she met the mother, at least. She knows that she'd want to meet anyone who would touch her baby, if she were a mother. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Darius grinned, stroking the girl's fingers. "Let's go, before we wake them up. I think Domino would shoot us."

He wasn't sure what kind of a mood Domino would be in, once they actually found her. He left the room, closing the door softly behind them. "I have to warn you, she's a pretty intense woman. But if she's not feeling super bitchy, she's usually pretty easy to get along with."

	Darius made a face. "Yeah yeah. How are they? Domino got home okay?" He was glad that things had turned out okay for one person, at least. And seeing the babies eased his guilt about abandoning his other family. "Ophelia, this is my brother Nathan. Nathan, this is Ophelia." 	"They are fine, yes she did. Have you two eaten?" He smiled and ruffled Darius' hair. He'd remember what Darius had done, all his life. He bowed to Opehlia, and smiled softly. The sound of a rather commanding female voice came down the hall. It was followed by a short woman in loose pajamas. She had very pale skin, and a tattoo over one eye. ". . . blood on the carpet I swear to God I'm going to kick your ass so hard, oh, good. Hi." Her demeanor changed from annoyed to cheerful, and she smiled at Darius and Ophelia.

Darius got a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks, Dare. We gave Phil your name, too."

She turned to Ophelia, smiling a little manically. "I'm Domino. You must be Darius's girlfriend. It's nice to meet you." She looked nice. Domino hoped that she was. Everybody deserved to have someone nice in their life.
