What: Wedding.

Warnings: Mmm.... room full of daimones? It's sadly way too possible.

12 days. In less than two weeks, she'd pulled together a wedding. Granted, not quite the wedding of her dreams - there were, after all, people invited, but a wedding nonetheless. She had kicked Momos out of the apartment the night before, and seen to all of the preparation crap herself. Granted, 'Mos was probably about 150 times more romantic and sentimental than she was, but it seemed wrong to leave the planning to him, as easy as that would have been. The roof top pergola had been decorated with moon vines and candles, firepits set about for a bit of added warmth and atmosphere. As far as she could figure she'd gotten everything taken care of.

Food, check. Cake, check. Rings, check. Flowers - Kia's responsibility. Dress... check. She had just slipped it on, and zippered it, and was looking at it rather critically in the mirror. She'd tried... tried to wear normal shoes with it, and felt like she was about to trip the whole time. but you couldn't see her feet anyhow, so that wasn't a problem. She'd grown her hair out until it fell down her waist, and she had flowers ready for it. She honestly could not recall the last time she looked so... ~~lovely~~ girly and innocent. But for one night... She could do anything.

She just needed Kia, Flowers, and the 20 minutes until this was supposed to start... And after this, it was over.

Leaning into the kiss, her hands lifted to cup his face, wanting to hold him close, to hold onto the last moments before they had to pay attention to the others, murmuring softly. "I love you. Always. My husband." That still sounded as terrifying as she thought it would, but it made her smile all the same. With another light kiss, she pulled her head back slightly. "Are we married now?"

And wife sounded just as terrifying as husband. Luckily, she had all the time in the world to get used to it. She waited til he put her down, and with a light wave of her hand music filled the roof, food and bar waiting for the guests. She leaned in , resting her head for a moment looking at the family members approaching to congratulate them, speaking quietly. "So how long are we obligated to stay?" It wasn't an anti-people thing, really... more a pro-wedding-night thing.

"Do I get to know where we're going?"

She didn't bother waiting for an answer, turning her head instead to smile as Aphrodite came to greet them.

The Love Goddess kissed them each on a cheek, all smiles for the couple. "Até, you're beautiful. Did you... Oh, I don't suppose you did. I look forward to talking to you when you get back. Momos, darling, dashing as ever. You'll make our girl happy I know." She winked knowingly. May your honeymoon be as lovely as your Valentine's was..."

"Dite!" Até offered a warning glare, well aware it just wasn't as scary when she looked the innocent bride. With a laugh, the love goddess wandered towards the rest of the festivities.

Where they were going? Was he supposed to plan that? Shit. It was alright. He'd think of something fairly quickly.

He smirked at Dite's statement. "Oh, I'm quite sure it will be as good. Don't worry about us. We'll enjoy ourselves."

Ares stood behind Dite while she spoke to them and after shooting a curious look at his woman, reached over to shake Momos hand. "Good man. You treat her right. I'm her Uncle, you know." He grinned at Ate. "You let me know if he mistreats you. I'll behead him and turn his corpse into a statue for you."

Momos simply nodded his head and tried not to laugh as Ares followed Dite. His next words fading as he walked away, "Hey, how do you know how their Valentine's Day went?"

Next up was Dolos. He picked up Ate's hand and kissed it. "You look lovely as ever, sister dear. Clearly too beautiful for the lump that is my brother." Yes, he was clearly still smarting from the smack earlier.

"I'll do that..." She nodded solemnly at Ares' words, taking them as the congratulations they were. Still, she tilted her head and flashed Momos a light smirk once he was gone. "He's my uncle, you know. Very protective." Returning her attention to the guests, she lifted a brow at Dolos as he greeted her, her free hand pressed lightly against her chest.

"Oh, I can hardly believe a word you tell me, can I? I'm still sore you didn't consider me date-worthy..." In a (very) rare show of familial affection, she smiled and leaned forward, pressing a kiss to his cheek. "Clearly too beautiful, but he's the one who asked, so he's stuck with me."

	Dolos clasped a hand to his cheek and staggered back dramatically. "And now I shall die a happy man! For I have been kissed by the most beautiful bride ever married!" "Oh, shut up, you bloody fool." She just shook her head, pointing toward the rest of the roof. "Begone, Dolos."

"We were going to get married, but we fought over custody of the kids." Ate blinked as Oizys came up, kissing her brother lightly on the cheek. "It was doomed from the beginning, I suppose. Not like you to. Isense only minimal amounts of misery..." She sighed. "A shame, really. there was a lot of potential."

Ate nodded slowly, mildly confused. "Thank you, I think." God, his family was weird.

With a grin, Dolos sauntered off to hit on a pretty waitress. Momos accepted his sister's kiss and ran a hand down Ate's arm in support.

"Yes, thank you. As much as we love you, it's nice knowing you won't be looking directly at us anytime soon. And really, a marriage between you and Dolos could lead to nothing but laughter and happy moments. So be glad you fought."

Oizys just offered Momos a bland look, and shook her head. "No need to be insulting like that. I can make anyone suitably miserable." She just nodded at them both, wandering off to go do what wedding guests do best... drink their booze and eat their food. Até managed somehow to not snicker until after she was gone. They were so, so weird. of course, that was it for family, really... except Styx.

	As Styx walked calmly up to the couple, 'Mos moved to whisper into Ate's ear. "Be nice...at least until she makes the first move." Gliding, as she tended to do, Styx moved in front of them. 	Eyebrows lifted as Styx spoke. That certainly wasn't what Momos has suspected to come from her. "Thank you, sister. We are glad you were able to join us today." Her eyes shifted from Ate to Momos and she nodded. "And I was glad to be here to witness when you decided to make her more than simply a white trash distant relation." I'm not sure Gandalf is about, but you could always check I imagine." Grinning, she reached up rubbed at the crease in his forehead. "But we can figure that out later. I think I'd like a Cosmo."
