12 days. In less than two weeks, she'd pulled together a wedding. Granted, not quite the wedding of her dreams - there were, after all, people invited, but a wedding nonetheless. She had kicked Momos out of the apartment the night before, and seen to all of the preparation crap herself. Granted, 'Mos was probably about 150 times more romantic and sentimental than she was, but it seemed wrong to leave the planning to him, as easy as that would have been. The roof top pergola had been decorated with moon vines and candles, firepits set about for a bit of added warmth and atmosphere. As far as she could figure she'd gotten everything taken care of.

Food, check. Cake, check. Rings, check. Flowers - Kia's responsibility. Dress... check. She had just slipped it on, and zippered it, and was looking at it rather critically in the mirror. She'd tried... tried to wear normal shoes with it, and felt like she was about to trip the whole time. but you couldn't see her feet anyhow, so that wasn't a problem. She'd grown her hair out until it fell down her waist, and she had flowers ready for it. She honestly could not recall the last time she looked so... ~~lovely~~ girly and innocent. But for one night... She could do anything.

She just needed Kia, Flowers, and the 20 minutes until this was supposed to start... And after this, it was over.

She wanted to stay calm... to keep the peace, to keep the evening on a good footing... she really wanted to, for him. But there were some things she couldn't let slide. All Até could think was that Momos really, really better be appreciating the patience she was exhibiting.

"You're right. That's really what this is all about, Styx. My need to be accepted as a proper member of the family, not some... what was it? What trash distant relative? And now that I'm legit, We can have tea and petit fours and be very best friends, Sister. The buffet is over there...." she pointed idly towards the food. "But I'd be careful, as I did make it all myself."

The look on her face was complete disgust. "I'll pass." She really didn't trust any food made by Ate or really anyone but herself. The look stayed on her face as she looked back at the couple. "Do try not to breed." Were her last words to them before she left them to themselves.

Mos' mouth dropped open at her words and how quickly she left and he tried very hard not to start laughing.

	She watched Styx go, the stiffness of her spine being the only real apparent affect her aunt had had on her. After a moment, she turned to tilt her head up and offer Momos a droll look. 	Momos simply busted out laughing. "No, believe me, that's advice we should probably take. Kids are the death of sex. And that is no good, no good at all." He leaned down to kiss the side of her jaw. Her nose crinkled lightly at the mere idea of mingling. "Your strange family and its strange rules. So long as you know the entire hour I'm going to be plotting how to drag you away so you can get this damn dress off me. No finger wigging allowed. Well, that and thinking of ways to justify punching your sister without breaking xenia..." Turning to face the gathered loved ones and guests and Styx, she leaned her shoulders back against his. "OK. who do you want to mingle with?"

	Momos looked at Ate, then at the crowd, then back at Ate. "Oh, fuck it." His voice rang out over the crowd, "Have fun. Drink our shit. Eat our food. Stay out of our apartment. We'll be back in about three weeks. See ya!" He leaned forward, kissed Ate and they disappeared. Styx' nose wrinkled. "Such a bad influence on him." (Reply to this) (Parent)
