Adam left Adriel with Joe the Butler, and headed off to the address Adika had given him. He hurried to the location, uncertain exactly what he'd find, but certain it would be a hell of a time. He needed soemthing like this, a little get away. He loved Adriel, he wouldn't trade his son for anything, but between being a father and being the self appointed King of England, sometimes he just needed time for himself.
He raised a hand to knock, though he sensed the goddess inside, and could be fairly certain she would sense him as well. Being the son of Satan gave him a little advantage over the average human, though he lacked any real and viable power. |
