Sam was bouncy as he waited for Gani. He had asked her out to the large museum near ESU because he thought it might be fun to wander some of the more interesting artifacts and exhibits. And really, anything done with her was fun.

He smoothed down his clothing nervously for the tenth time. He was trying, these days, to look his best. He wanted her to know he valued her time, always, and he loved making her smile.

So he waited, and grinned, and his eyes shone as he pondered showing her all the exhibits... or most anyway.

"And I love you, dear."

He grinned as he led the way out, and to the waiting carriage.

"Would you care for some ice cream, love?"

"I definitely would." Even in the winter, Ganieda loved ice cream. And ice cream with Sam was even better...well, anything with Sam was wonderful.

He smiled as he helped her into the carriage and gave the address for the ice cream parlor he wanted. Soon they were clip clopping along.

"Amazing woman. Ypu make me so happy."

"And you make me happy. And...thank you for that. The history...it was good to see."

It gave her a better sense of what had been happening in the world and how much time had truly passed since she left her world and came here.

He blushed and bounced and was happy he was with her. Some how, someway, she made him whole.

"Yeah. It's incredible what history is like, out there."

"It is. And I am glad to have you to share my history with." She leaned her head against his shoulder.

"It does make me wonder what our history will be like, what will happen, what won't."

He smiled softly.

"All we can do is try to build a better life."

They stopped in front of the shop, and he stepped down and helped her down, before leading her into the ice cream store.

"Here we are!"

She smiled and looked around. "What are you going to have?" she asked.

She'd choose something with chocolate in it. She usually did.

"I think..."

He perused the lists on the boards.

"I think I will go with a triple scoop bowl, and get chocolate, peanut butter, and vanilla, with hot fudge on top."

She grinned, kissing his cheek. "Oh, that thing called Double Death by Chocolate sounds good..."

Which it would, really. Gani has become somewhat of a chocolate fanatic.
