Jean slowly drifted over the area that she was to meet Nathan in, just taking in the scenery, at first. It was a good world, she'd decided, and one she would be glad to make her home in.

She touched down a few minutes before she was due to meet Nate, and took a seat at one of the tables, arranging her skirt so that it let a little airflow blow around her calves. A long dress hadn't been the best outfit choice for a place so close to the equator, but she'd loved it when she saw it.

	Jean shook her head and laughed. "Alright. I'll draw up some designs and show them to you in the next week or so." She sighed softly. Jean smiled again, and while it was more thoughtful, it was no less genuine.

Domino was still tense, but did her best to hide it. Sudden jumps in ambient tension always made her nervous. It was a very useful survival trait, but not so great for social situations.

"Would you like to come to the testing, Jean? You'd get to see Dr. McCoy again, and it'll give Nate someone to talk to while I flail in his head."

Jean nodded. "Yes. I have to admit, I'm really curious about it. I always wanted to have kids, but the time was never right."

She sounded a little wistful. "I suppose it was for the best, in the end. But I'm still curious, if you don't mind me asking a million questions."

Domino shook her head. "I like talking about the kids. It's scary, and exciting, and talking about what's going on reduces the scary and increases the excitement."

She rolled her eyes, and Domino blinked, poking Nate a little.

"It's a long story. I'll let Nate tell you about it."

She wasn't sure what he wanted to reveal about his past, and didn't want to alienate him. "I'm just sorry that Slim isn't here to help out as well. He'd have enjoyed seeing you so happy, and probably would have tried to embarrass you to death after your wedding."

Domino realized that she was tired. The information Nate had shared with her was a lot to take in, and she wanted time to properly look at it. Not to mention the fact that she'd been busy all day.

"I think I'm in need of a nap. Sorry to cut out early on you guys."

She shook Jean's hand again. "It's nice to meet you, finally. I'll see you on Wednesday."

She moved to kiss Nate, her hands stroking through his hair softly. "Have fun talking to your Mom, love."

	"Love you too." She put her plate in the sink and left for their bedroom, already thinking about the bath she wanted, and her warm pajamas. Jean smiled softly. "Awwwww.
