Sam drove just under the speed limit, his car turning the corners at speed and his brow pricked with sweat. Ganieda had called him and let him know she was okay, and now he would get to see her again and see her new place. He had been worried for days and he most definitely wanted to see her and hold her and make sure she was okay.

He drove carefully but very fast along the roads until he arrived, darting into the building that Merlin owned and waved in by the security guard who had been supplied his picture.

He darted into an elevator and impatiently waited as it rose, slowly.

When it finally reached Ganieda's level, he breathed, shook himself, and walked out, making his way to her door, and raising his hand to knock.>

	He hugged her and smiled, eyes bright with unshed tears. He was happy she was well. He snuggled close to her as he sat, and grinned at her. "Have I mentioned that you are the most amazing woman I know? I missed you." "I missed you too." She shivered a bit as he kissed her, but was very glad he was near, and with her, and that his mouth was so warm against hers.

She sighed, slipping her arms around him and holding him close. "I was...I was so frightened that I would not be able to see you again, for a little while. And I feel so fortunate that I want to go to pieces again." She grinned up at him. "But so happy that I only want to be strong for you."

He snuggled her close, glad to feel her arms around him, glad to see her smile, her beautiful eyes, her warm pale skin, glad to touch and feel her.

He kissed her softly again.

"I am glad that... that things are better. And you do not have to be strong for me, Ganieda. I almost lost it myself when you told me about it... and all I want to do now is hold you close. Cry if you need to, if you want to, and I will hold you."

It was so lovely and pleasant to be so close, to have him touch her and know that they were safe.

"I have cried all I want, darling, and now, I only wish to be with you, and have you hold me." She lay her head against his chest to hear his heart beating and stroked her fingers over his shirt front.

"There is so much to plan for and do, and I wish to have you near me for as much of it as I can."

She laughed. "This is my living situation...and since my new identification makes me 18, apparently this here is my home for as long as I want it to be." She snuggled in again. "I want to work with my brother, and learn as much as I can, both in magic and in the business. And...I just want to be safe, for a time. Safe and well-loved and around people who worry for my safety."

"Mmmmm," she sighed, tucking her feet under her and snuggling in. She was still quite exhausted by all that had happened.

"I hope you have not been too terribly worried. I would not have wanted you to be too distracted in school," she says softly. "I wanted to be with you so much those last days, but I knew that I just had to make it a few more days and then I would be safe."

	She looked up into his eyes. "Alive is very good," she said softly, and kissed him back. "I love you...but I also feel that you are my dearest friend." 	Intended. There was an interesting term. But Ganieda did not ask what he meant by it, instead, she ducked her head shyly.
