Warnings: Vampirism, perhaps? But Malakai will be on his best better behavior.
Having used the magical transports a few times already himself, he was well versed in the area where the device was going to plant Johanna, and made sure to be there as soon as night fell, not wanting to leave her waiting. It wasn't that he necessarily considered her frail, considering what he knew of her creator and their likenesses, but at the least, he wanted to be the gentleman.
Leaning against the wall, there was a cigarette hanging from his lips, a longstanding habit when he was trying to stretch his patience. It wasn't that Johanna was late, no- he was starved, and not patient on his best of days. Still, he would behave himself until she seemed alright with him, no matter what the throbbing in his head had to say about it. He owed it to her, and Miss Sedant both. |
